How much do you guys take off? I don't think I took off enough I only took off about half of the leaves on each shoot. I've seen different things tho. But it won't let me post pics for some reason to show you guys just trying to get some opinions. I just flipped to flower 5 days ago so I'll be defoliating again in about 2-3 weeks but plants have grown alot bigger than planned in my 2x4x6 tent lol

Lollipoping isn’t the same as defoliating
Lollipop means turn the plant into the shape of one of those giant candy suckers by removing all lower growth including branches and stems

Well I tried to lollipop then I guess. I was just opening up the center of the plants and getting all the leaves off of each other and ones that were coverinf up bud sites pretty much.

Yeah u defoliated. Figure out where u want bottom of your canopy to be, cut everything below that and u got your lollipop. 10- 18" deep usually but depends on your light and space.

I always trimmed off the bottom 2/3 of the plant. Those lower branches never amounted to much in my setup, so I cut them off in veg and used them as clones. y removing those lower branches, you are forcing the plant to throw all its energy into growing a massive top cola.
It baffles me to see people doing the exact opposite now. They cut off that beautiful top cola and it hurts my soul.
