And only to @playermic would a 240v plug be considered a "complex electrical component"
That's because load center breakers contain circuits that power the whole house the current he touched was most likely a much higher wattage than a random open wire. double gloves and rubber soled shoes is enough to negate the current on these wires anything higher than that like I said for the 4th time should be a certified electrician@playermic I met a guy once that used your method to trip main breakers by arcing phases in a load center. NOT approved methods indeed and he got away with this method for many years, or so he says. But one day he arced his buss only to loose his eyesight due to arcflash (hot copper vapor in the eyes).
Say what, again lol. Arch flash and the encompassing consequences can be caused by a 15 amp curcuit. Just stop lol. That's because load center breakers contain circuits that power the whole house the current he touch was most likely a much higher wattage than a random open wire. double gloves and rubber soled shoes is enough to negate the current on these wires anything higher than that like I said for the 4th time should be a certified electrician
There goes another screwdriverYou wear the gloves and use a tool w/ a hard surface touch to the tip of each wire Do I have to spell it out for you??
"call an electrician lol, that's good advice considering that's the exact advice I included in this postbut now its your advice. you should high five yourself that's some good advice
Im happy you learned that, feel free to ask any more questions, guy.
The whole point of this thread is about live wires you may encounter in the house like the one in the first picture I included. Not load centers and arch flashes. sorry to bust your bubble little guy but is it Wise to not comment on electricity at all, or is it Wise to shed light on how to identify and effectively deal with the situation?? I appreciate your input water dog but you come across as basic or squirrel brained. Like that squirrel in your avatar.Arch flash is quite the sight!!! Sorry for the pun! Oh and watch that rayon shirt it sucks when it melts to your flesh! Very painful I hear! Look OP I'm with Charface when he says your heart was in the right place, BUT it is not a wise thing to give out advice re: electrical work! If someone wants to do it let them search out info for themselves! The advice you offered is bad and dangerous, just admit it and move on, big hugs for all lol. Hows the grow doing?
He's a ferret btw.The whole point of this thread is about live wires you may encounter in the house like the one in the first picture I included. Color is not an indicator of what someone actually used the wire for.
@playermic you are proof that evolution is no longer applicable. Dumb as a box of poorly educated rocks.
You have yet to show why your any smarter than me at anything.. btw that's my weed plant in my pic on the left not a...ferretHe's a ferret btw.
Look, ferret guy, Ive said this before.. the information I provided comes directly from a certified electrician. If you think you know more about issues concerning electricity than me, thats your opinionbut this is a weed site and 'real weed growers will give advice on these issues. cleaning up squirrel and rabbit turds may be more your skills rather than weed growing you should join the animal lovers forum or ferret lovers.com. just don't call peoples advice 'stupid'... when theyre trying to save lives. -playermicNo ones trying to prove anything, on the contrary, their trying to save someone from doing a stupid thing. You have, on the other hand, proved lots though. Your not an electrician and you offer bad advice! You have been offered the correct course of action yet you proceed to attack peoples intelligence, while showing a huge lack of it in doing so. As I said just stop and let this die a quick death. I regret getting into this, as you continue to try and defend your position by questioning the wisdom of others that actually work in this field, i do find it amusing! Shorting out a live circuit with a metal object ......... Wow!!
I give up lol.Look, ferret guy, Ive said this before.. the information I provided comes directly from a certified electrician.
