I'm working out o a 8x4x8 closet and going to be running two areo rail units each unit having to rails with 5 sites pre rail for a total of ten sites per unit so I'm wondering if I should go with two 1000 watt or if two 600 will work for this trying to get optimal results but don't want overkill thanx

if you have a way of cooling the 1000's then do 1000's but if your going to have issues with heat then 600's.

Perhaps 1000's with lumatek dimmables. This way they can be turned down to this 750 or 600 or even up to super lumens.

I like to stick with 1000 watters most of the time, but like I said I don't think you'll need them.

If your still not decided do what Snaps said. Get dimmable ballasts. Someone once posted the light spectrum of one of their 1000 watt lights dimmed to 600 watts and it was near identical to the 1000 watt mode, (something that is often debated.)
