Also, for thousands of years, cannabis was not government controlled. Taxing it and making it a "permission based" kind of privilege defaults to an external authority being the entity that has final say. That is a precedent I oppose. You own yourself and shouldn't have to get permission to do so, from anyone.

The US doesn't have free markets. Just bullshit corporations that run shit. You want a free market, allow ANYONE to grow and sell whatever they produce with no regulation.

He's only advocated for legalized growing without trying to legalize sales. He's not advocating anything new other than removal of a restriction. Both growing and sales are not legal right now in many states and in federal law. He's only advocating to remove one restriction already on the books.

I get that you have some grandiose idea of free and peaceful people interacting together in a non-coercive manner and any restriction on freedom of action that doesn't harm others is the ultimate sin. But... is it all or nothing for you? Must the whole system change at once?

So you advocate staying out of people's lives. Sticking to this topic, I don't see how legalizing growing ahead of legalized sales is a greater imposition than the status quo. Explain how legalized growing ahead of legalized sales is a greater harm than what is already on the books?
