I would be sketched on anything from GDP, saw some pictures and video of Kens backyard where he did his "breeding" multiple males in flower packed in with his females pollen everywhere who knows what your getting its a cluster fuck of cross pollination. The GDP rep split from the company and is now Dungeon Vault Genetics carrying most of the same crosses and claims they are all legit he has also grown them out and they look great.

Very happy. It was my first time running his gear, but I will say for the price you get some fantastic gear. I have a pack of the Double White Cheese that I still have to run. He has a handful of other strains I would like to try also.

I had a hazeman thread up for a bit. I should probably update it with a smoke report now, but there were alot of good reviews in that thread.

Thanks mate. I know there was some controversy around his return. Just wanted to wait and see until I pulled the trigger

everyone has a story... 2 sides I guess. But Ken seems like a cool guy. Him and I have exchanged quite a few messages and I hate to see him (or GDP Genetics) getting bashed.

Here is a message he sent me (*edited, not full convo)

There was a series of bad events that happened over the past year or so that caused the a shortage of supply. It started when I fell ill and was hospitalized with a mysterious illness, then my partners did some shady stuff when they were left in charge while I was sick, when I recovered, I discovered they were embezzling money and had to part ways with them. If that wasn't enough, I also had a house fire and a raid in that time! AND I then had a landlord who became greedy and tried to extort significant sums of money from me in order to keep my lease at my collective... we were not able to come to an agreement so I had to close up shop. So, there has been many set backs, but I have my health back and had to start all over, but soon all those hurdles will be behind me and I'll be able to help patients again. Some of my new crosses are starting to become available through the Seedsman

Same, im staying away from Dungeon Vault (as well as other Ken's GDP associated companies who will not be mentioned...). Ken had a few partners working for him that really wanted that "KGP Ceo" position when Ken stepped down. Thing is im 99% sure Ken has kids, so that position is pretty much locked up til Ken Jr grows on up. From what I've gathered, Ken's partners came to this realization as well when Ken was sick in the hospital, and took it upon themselves to embezzle money/Ken's genetics. They then split, and have all started their own ventures to capitalize on the modern day cannabis gold rush.

This industry is going to be FULL of stories like this as we see more and more economic activity becoming quazi legal.

No I am not interested in picking up crosses from either anymore. And I am a die hard GDP fan. None of this looks good for either of them IMO.

Bullshit like this is what makes the industry look bad imo. We need to be putting on a front and make our whole industry appear civil and peaceful to the eye of the outsiders.

Im no tree hugging hippie preaching peace & love. I try to remain civil on these forums but fact is im the type of dude that will walk up to you in front of all your people and break your jaw for bein a scumbag to my wife at the bar, that said - i feel more then ever we should all unite to make this industry work and prosper. There is more then enough money for everyone to get a slice of the cheese without all of this back stabbing, steeling and grimey bullshit. These people should remember, this is still illegal federally. THEY are the enemy and smokers, growers and breeders should be watching each others back.

Sadly this behavior isn't limited to quasi legal industry. It's just business.

Nice sentiment, but good luck. Try uniting RIU on.........anything. If you can succeed at that, then maybe try your hand with the cats making the dough, or aiming to.

Trust me, im not naieve to think it would/could actually happen. It was more a tangent with my opinion on the situation as a whole but also directed towards the assholes that felt compelled to kick a man while he was down. Plus im flying on AMP & BHO (long story, kinda)

I got a Ken's GDP clone from a dispensary in Santa Cruz. It was the first time I grew one and I was pretty happy with it. I grew some Godfather from seed and that's GDP X LA Confidential, according to MTG. The Ken's plant looked just like a Godfather. It was incredibly bushy and little sprouts kept growing out of the bottom of the main stalk even after I pulled them off. By the time I harvested the little sprouts at the bottom had turned into tiny micro buds that looked like broccoli. I don't have a lot of space to grow, so a short bushy plant is great for me. Only drawback is I have to really watch out for mold on the buds. I lost a bunch of one crop because I left the buds on the plants too long. Apparently you just can't let indicas go too long in my part of the state because of humidity.
