KC Brains?

So I'm talking to a buddy today about what strains we'll be growing outdoors this year and she recommended a few of KC's offerings. I come online looking for information and its pretty sparse.

The regular beans are extremely affordable and the feminized are about average but a lot of people report devilish germ rates or hermies yet quite a few give nothing but praise.

Is it worth the time to grow out his gear? If I do, it'd be a feminized mix of Spontanica, KC 33, Leda Uno, and Mango. Should I just stick with Aces gear? If you rec KCs selection then what strains do you recommend? Any horrible germ rates? Should I look elsewhere?

I just dont want to waste my time at all this year. All advice is appreciated in advance. Thanks :)

Ive just germed KC Brains Mango, Mindbender, KC39, Afghani Special.
All 100% popped. KC gets a lot of bad write ups, but I don't think by the results Ive' had its justified. Thats my personal view.

Germination is not the problem. I had very good germ rates from his gear. The problem is genetics. Now I wont completely discredit him, but what I ran was nothing as described, and out of the 40 or so beans, I literally had 40 or so phenos, some pure mutants. Not a single keeper out of the bunch.

And go ahead and try to contact him. I tried 2 or 3 times, and he couldnt be bothered. Only breeder that I have ever had not respond to me. Hell, even subcool emailed me back within hours!

Personally, i will never run his gear again. If you choose to, good luck and hope you have more success.

yeah, to be honest, they seem to be good beans.. germ is all good. growing them? fine. but they came out with diff characteristics like crazy.. as seen above, that one plant had some weird growth and if it wasn't for having something wrong with my grows lately:
https://www.rollitup.org/t/can-someone-help-please-been-having-a-prob-for-a-while-now.826582/
than the leaf might still be doing that but it fell off lol.. but the other two in this somewhat grow journal (just kinda documented early seedling life and what not for soil comparison.. will document the rest of what I concluded later) were totally different, one had sets of 7 blade leafs and the other had sets of 5 and ones blades were either thicker or thinner, wasn't taking nutes the same or growing at the same rate.. didn't expect them to be the same since the differences I used in growing, but figured it wouldn't be that big of a difference, just enough to notice what the different soils did to the growth.. but shit it was almost like growing 3 different types of plants in general lol.. just popped two more beans the other day and ima play around with what else I got left and see if I cant torture them or practice fixing my issue Im having with ALL of my plants (plz help by following the link above to the plant prob section)

but review on these seeds, you get what you pay for.. I wanted decent genetics, good for out doors (particularly good here) and cheap. I got about that lol..
