Kalkaska's Prosecutor Killed

Wasn't he anti-mmj? Let's hope his replacement is better. This is quite sad for his family and friends. RIP

KALKASKA, Mich. — Authorities say the Kalkaska County prosecutor has died while skiing near Traverse City. Brian Donnelly was 61.


TV stations WPBN and WTOM report that Kalkaska County Sheriff David Israel confirmed Donnelly's death Sunday.

Kalkaska County Commissioner Mike Cox tells the Traverse City Record-Eagle that Undersheriff Abe Devol called late Saturday to tell him that Donnelly died while skiing on the Vasa trail in neighboring Grand Traverse County.

Cox says Devol didn't provide a cause of death.


The Grand Traverse Sheriff's Department says in a news release that emergency crews found a 61-year-old man who was unresponsive on the trail about 2:45 p.m. Saturday and took him to Munson Medical Center. The release doesn't identify the man.


Donnelly became Kalkaska County prosecutor in 1995 and won re-election in 2008.

Hes been on a mission to shut down all who are involved. because of a court ruling that involved a man who had a botanist come in and determine what was considered a plant had to have roots. donally said anyone that gets visited by leos will have all plants pulled up to check for roots. I know many others that have had bogus charges placed on them because of that guy. he was about to be recalled we had enough signatures or at least we were very close.

I didn't get any kind of celebrating from their posts. It sounded like they were just simply stating facts, there wasn't any ha ha or anything.?

I feel sorry for his family and friends.

The old "reefer madness" culture is dying off and hopefully someone with a little more sense will take his place. He was old, I'm sure his friends and family will celebrate his life while some celebrate his death. Like it or not that's the way it is.

It is common someone challenges a mod (and easy to do it) - it very rare for a mod to admit mistake. Yes, and no. There are a few times that I've saw me, you, and him be out of line. You make a lot of good points, but often go about it wrong. That is probably why you haven't been kicked off. Many people have liked your comments, but have disliked many of your other comments. I respect your opinions and his hopefully in the future we all are better growers and better people.

Dude you have no clue...

When I first started posting here Razzz and a few of his friends filled pages and pages of bullshit and insults arguing with myself and anyone else that disagreed with them, and yet the days went by. We didn't have mods with personal agenda's playing games and sending personal mails filled with insults about my mother or threats that if I tick them off they will get me removed or trolling posters trying to antagonize them.

Like in life, I respond to people in the same manor in which they post or respond to me. I give a fuck on the second Tuesday of next week for those who have a problem with it.. So they try the soft insult approach and try and use education or other things things to get people where I myself prefer to cut to the chase and call them for what they are. You may not like my wording but it's no different then what they are saying.
