Hi RUI people.
A brother goes down. Sad day.

For those curious types...I happen to be familiar with alpha 1 antitripsin deficiency...the inherited condition that he had. Alpha 1 antitripsin is an enzyme that repairs damage in the lungs. So a person who has it...but doesn't know it...can develop COPD even with very limited smoking. With this condition, smoking leads to COPD fast and always. Once diagnosed...there is treatment. My friend who had it lived to be about 55.

My gut tells me it wasn't his illness...just saw him get an infusion few days ago in his RV...he seemed perfectly healthy...physically anyway
That's what I thought too. I actually called a buddy and ask him if he thinks it may have been suicide. In my experience, they never say it was natural causes the next day. No way to really tell that quick.

Man I was waiting for someone else to say it...he was perfectly healthy jus a few days ago...death from illness usually involves a lengthy battle in the hospital...he had just lost literally everything...everyone keeps talking about this illness...bro he wasn't sick...I still actually followed him occasionally....he was fine...physically....he was losing it mentally tho

You hit the nail on the head. The rock bottom he was at was a real scary place to be.

Dank...he was far from healthy...and with the condition he had...he was facing a brutal death struggling for breath. I wasn't aware of his financial situation...but the combination of those two things would certainly place him at high suicide risk. I think I'd be considering it under those circumstances.
