Hi ppls,
I think we are n week 2 now for outdoor and I wanted to know if my plants are developing properly or if I may need to push them.
Few things: I have noticed my ladies are all shooting pistils atm, but some of the lower sites that dnt receive much light have crunchy leaves. Lke one finger on the leaf will b Brown the rest green. Doesn't seem like it's affecting the actual bud tho. (No pic sry)
Also I wanted to know if u think the bud size is on par with the corresponding week of flower. Ten gallon pots(I think may b bigger). Any help is appreciated

Week 2 of flower or week 2 of being outside? Either way, as far as I can tell they look okay in regards to bud size. I am curious what strain this is though as it is getting purple pretty early, is it maybe cold where you live? If not, you may want to look into it unless it is specifically a purple strain, but from my experience, even the purples stay green most of the time until just about yield time. I could be wrong there, haven't personally grown purps due to not loving the high as much, but maybe just look into it to be safe.

Thats really hard to say bro, Becasue all strains are different and could mature faster/slower than others.. Take my grow for example.. They are BARLEY flowering.. Like literally about 5 days in they look. Some look around 10 days of flower. It just depends on the strain. My sativa dominants, have barley flowered.. Just barley showing pistils. As far as I see your plant is flowering 40% faster than all of mine lol! You can't really hold a time frame to the size of your buds... There is just way to many variables that come into play.. Se far your plant looks great! I would up your nutes though, as your leaves are looking a bit tealish green in color. What strength nutes are you feeding? What type of nutes are you feeding? Or are you watering with only water and your plants feeding off the soil? If so, I think the fertilizers within your soil are just about used up, I'd def. up your nutrient intake. Other than that it looks good so far man! Just keep watering and make sure shes fed efficiently, and you yield will come!

I was wondering that myself about the purple. In regards to what I'm feeding( and omg screw the first one to say something negative) I'm using maxibloom and iguanas juice together full strength twice a week to feed. Additive big bud, superthrive and very ill worm castings.
I water every day because they are I, a greenhouse and get like 13 or more hrs of Sun a day.
I vegged from May 1 til now and they are about 7 ft easy. It's not cold where I am at all its around 80-90 I'd say on average. Could I be giving them too much phosphorus or potassium? Should I flush and see what that does for them.
They are the biggest I have ever grown and I need to see the potential to decide if I wann keep this bag seed.
If more pics would help I can snap as many as ya like.
Also the purple is happening on about half of the plants.
I know it's a lot but thanks guys

Depending on your watering cycle I usually don't wait longer than 2 waterings but where I'm at that is only about 5-6 days, soil dries out quick here.
Flushing helps to dilute any overpowered nutes trapped in the soil, but what I would do is start at anywhere from half nutes to 3/4 nutes instead of just diving back in.

Shit for me... at least now, each of my plants are around 4-5 ft tall, and its daily 80*-98* F. I literally HAVE to water every other day... Sometimes I have to water every day if I see the leaves drooping in the morning.. It's crazy doing that almost every day with 30 damn plants... lol!!

These should be put into a pamphlet or something and distributed to everyone. Even a PDF file would be cool. I'm using my phone right now but if I end up with time I'll try and make that up on my computer. Nice little thing to print out and keep near your nutes or something.
someone on riu last year pointed them out to me cant remember where ...maybe I even stumbled onto them by accident as I am always looking at problems regarding my chillis which are superhots and real fussy with feeds lol

The one I posted I stumbled upon somewhere in the annals of the internet. It's actually on a sticky thread here on riu though. It's easy to just scroll past them in the forums but they are sticky'd for a reason.

Thanks for the additional info btw

Personally I think it looks great. Only thing I see that resembles any sort of an issue is the leaf tips on the one are curling a little bit but I don't know enough to tell you how big of a concern it is, or what may be causing it. I wouldn't stress it though, plants look absolutely lovely.
Good job.

Well guys I ended up yielding about 20 oz dry from 7 plants, I lost one to worms. Is outdoor always so unpredictable as far as weight wise? I had a few plants that had hard rock dense buds then the majority had fluffy airy buds. Anyway I feel like I did ok for a outdoor grow that was chopped two weeks early.
So lay it on me guys what do u think
