Didn’t want to mug up the Karma thread with the bs behind the Josh D and Bubba “True bullshit story behind OG” that doesn’t make an ounce of sense.

Anyhow, seems like more solid work from Karma. I like the genetics mixed in here. Anybody finish these? Smoked some? Nose, herms, any info?

Going to be popping these alongside the “Over the Moon Kush” from Sin City. I offered a cut of the OtMK (after request), should offer up this as well.

The whole part of Bubba “discovering” OG and Josh D “bringing it to CA”. Bubba states in an interview that he popped bagseed. After flowering said bagseed, he claims that someone said that the buds looked like “Little Kush berries”, so he came up with “OG Kush”. Wtf? He claims that, at that point in time, none of them had ever heard the term “Kush”, or had knowledge of any “Kush strains”.

What the fuck is a “Kush Berry”?

The “original” OG was not referred to as “OG Kush”. “Kush” was added on to “OG” crosses bred to improve yield. The “OG” tag had to be maintained for “association”, to get top dollar per gr, O, Bow, because “OG” was/is hot.

Take a look at their cut. Clearly an “OG Kush”, not straight OG. If anything, he got some OG bagseed, had heard the “OG Kush” moniker, and ran with that. How could he have “discovered OG” if his cut is clearly an OG cross. Rhetorical, so not a question.

I was smoking OG before he claims to have discovered the bagseed.

Story is bs. At best, received buds with seeds, at worst, got a cut from homey, and stakes a claim years later.

Nail in this coffin; they can prove that all OG cuts come from theirs via genetics. Not going to happen. Why? because their cut came after both OG and a number of “OG Kush” cuts.

I’ve heard the story a few times,interesting point of view you have on it being a “cross” . Do you go along with the theory that O.G is a T.K s1 ? If not what do you think is it’s lineage ?
When was the earliest you would have smoked it ?
If Josh D’s cut isn’t the original,what cut do you consider to be the “real” O.G ?

Sorry for all the questions I just find the mystery of O.G quite interesting

I finished up a couple Josh D OGs recently. One had tons of bag appeal and tasted like sweet fuelly lime, musty cellars, and soil.

The other was a little less smelly and shiny looking, but tasted of sweet/sour lime and pine needles completely soaked in fuel, with an intensity that i can only compare to Listerine. The high felt like injecting sunshine into my brain.

It's hands down the best thing ive ever smoked. (I am in the UK though, so no access to any "real" OGs for comparison)

I've got a pack and a half left to go through to see if I can find something better.

Yeah, Gene had some really good things to say about the Josh D grown outdoor. I think overall Karma Genetics is pretty solid for OG hybrids if you dont have access to the elite cuts.
The whole origins of OG is so shrouded in so much BS and tall-tales that I stopped paying attention to any of it. There's a huge thread on it on IC and every third person has a different story about it.

I’ve grown out his Biker Kush V.2 and White O.G and was really impressed by how solid they were.

I just finished some headbanger and liked it a lot. Easy to grow and some phenos were resilient enough to go past day 71 outdoors in high humidity. Just started on a pack of road dawg this week. I’ll probably end up grabbing a pack a josh D at some point.

How long did they take to finish mate?

Tahoe is confirmed Chem 91 s1 but the other OGs are not Chem 91 s1. Look up the.nature.farm on IG and you will see this dude has pretty much all the cuts and info to go with it.

Matt B story goes they popped the bagseed of Supernaut and found the Kush aka 92 OG aka Ghost OG. Took it to Cali where he stayed with Josh D and that’s how he got the cut but it didn’t get the OG tag till everyone was calling bunk stuff Kush and they called it OG Kush to separate from what was being sold as the same. Now the interesting part of the whole ordeal is cornbread from Swamp Boys has said that Matt B was growing TK at that time cus he specifically gave it to him. Is it possible Ghost is a TK s1 very possible but they aren’t the same as many have both and they are different.

IMHO people should stop worrying about these origin stories cus you will never know the truth these cats love to lie for fame. It will drive you crazy trying to figure this stuff out but I personally don’t think most OG are Chem 91 s1. The 91 Chem also been DNA tested and was submitted by Nspecta of CSI and it didn’t link as being parents of other OG cuts just being from the same family down the line but not direct offspring.

Anyways these seeds are fire lots have found good. Surprised they didn’t use Ghost OG for this being it has Josh D name attached but look forward to you killing these

I like karmas gear a lot, anything that his biker male touches seems to be really good, I've grown his biker kush which was really nice a bitch to clone though lost the cut I wanted to keep, grew strawberry banana cream which was very nice, grew a pack of karmas OG still have a cut of that, grew a pack of headbanger absolutely love it, just popped some sour power OG, and I still have more sour power og more headbanger and a pack of josh d OG.

Karma says the josh d OG is his most worked line ever which I know is saying something because his karma OG was a very worked line. I can't wait to pop those I think they are destined for my light dep greenhouse that's where I get my highest quality.
