Is my weed moldy?

Hello all. I am trying to figure out if my weed is moldy. So I figured I would post here since I assume there are some people here who would know better than I do about the subject as I've never had any moldy weed and have only been smoking for a couple years now.

Have a look at it with a loupe, mold spores look like small grey/brown trichomes..

The white looks like the stem cuts, the dense inside part of bud can take the same colour when cut, and it looks like that on some of the pics. The brown colour looks like it is hopefully just couch lock weed ;p.

I'm finding clear tiny hairs in the buds kinda like what spider mites leave behind

It smells okay it doesn't seem to have a musty smell but Yesterday i broke up a nug in a mason jar i then added teaspoon of water and closed it up waited overnight and today it had a wet basement smell.

Hard to say from the photos, But from the description you’re giving, I’d say good chance it’s yes.

Here’s some photos of mold I found, as reference. You’re looking for fuzzy white or grey fluff/patches, or musky ‘off’ smell. Hope this helps

What kind of mold is that? I think I found a bud with that today...

Pretty sure it was grey mould, but pictures show little more white (maybe the light I used)

I bought it at a store, so it’s hard to say without the knowledge of the grow, thankfully they refunded fully when I went back!

IMO It’s best to avoid smoking any mould/mildew buds, especially when theirs so much good stuff to grow / in the market

Yup, never worth the health risk. I'd just dry it well and make some kind of edibles...

Some of you are blind. The brown is a hint, but then there's the actual mold. Slimy mold. Furry mold. Here a mold, there a mold, everywhere a mold mold.
