I'm thinking about growing in a pc case I know the yield won't be much compared to a proper HID grow in a tent or whatever. I do have a 85w blue spec cfl and red 85w cfl from previous grows in a cabinet. Anyways I want to know if you can connect everything to a power supply or do you need to use proper plug sockets.

You don't need sockets, if you don't mind damaging your PC power supply, you can just strip the wires and connect the fans, however I agree with fabfun here, the power supply will generate heat. As you will only be using fans, not so much as if you would be using an actual PC with all the hardware, but anyways if temperature is an issue in your place, have that in mind.
