imidacloprid root aphids

I've been reading a lot and I've been told that imidacloprid is all that will kill root aphids when you have an infestation. Can anyone point me in the right direction to what product to buy? I got sns203 and bayer fruit and vegetable, and avid. I've done sns203 as a foliar. Please someone who has had experience with these in a large garden, help

I'm pretty bummed at the lack of help on Riu these days. There used to be a lot of useful information available on this website. Now it seems like a bunch of closet growers and old organic hippies that think they know it all. If anyone has truly had a problem with root aphids.. After doing a lot of research today I figured out what will kill them. If you expect to have a fighting chance, and your still in veg or early flower and you want to do it the nuke way rather than organic spend 3 months way .. Merit 75wp and orthene 97 will handle your problem .

theres a ton of shit, too much for me to write. theres fungi, bacteria, and predators along with oils and bio chems. mix up a cinnamon and galic n hot pepper spray.

Cool it's the same ingredients as the stuff I already ordered .i appreciate it guys. I ordered merit 75wp and orthene97. I was planning on doing a feed of each . Flood until runoff maybe 4 days in between. If I begin flower after that should I be good until the end? Or do I need to hit them again? I have bayer fruit and veggie too. I don't think I am overwhelmed yet. I found 3 of the fliers on a sticky trap and I've seen about 15 total on the plants after looking for hours. They are the little white fuckers that you can only see with a scope. I saw a few on top soil and couple on rim of pots.

The statement about old organic hippies is ignorant as fuck and from your post I am quite sure you have not figured it out. Write back in a month and tell us what you are trying then.

I am a bit out of touch as a result. Whatchagonnado? This site is still
the most active, it seems to me.

BTW: that systemic (imidacloprid) is a hairy topic, but I fall on the side that
it is ok if used early enough in Veg. You can look up how long it lasts in the
plant and a full flower cycle is enough for it to have flushed by harvest.

I have heard great things about using Neem Cake, broken up
into one's soil. I just have not found a local source for these yet.

I agree my statement was out of line. I get bummed when I take the time to help others out on here.. And I can't get any love back. If I don't clean this situation I will be sleeping in my car lol so sorry if I'm not first go to and buy some neem. I've been growing awhile now, and I don't like to use crazy pesticides.. But when you have a LARGE room, 20x20 and you get a problem.. And you plan to take care of that problem the most efficient way possible.. And when feeding your family is on the line... You want to rid your problem the quickest way possible. I am growing in sunshine #4 . It is going to be damn near impossible to kill everyone of these aphids with pesticides from hell, let alone need oil. So what I'm saying is , yes my self and about damn near everyone on this site knows that neem oil kills bugs . But any grower that knows what they are talking about will tell you neem is a waste of time for a commercial grower.
