well i have another 2 weeks before ill be back to work and getting a weekly paycheck, last night after laying in bed for several hours trying to figure out wtf i was going to do about money, i suddenly had an idea, im a rather large glass fanatic, i have a large collection, and have been wanting to make a bag and pouch for every peice i have, then i got to thinking, im not the only one thats in need of said cases, and maybe i could make some and sell them to friends and my fellow stoner friends of RIU.
tonite i made the first one, after spending the last of my money on materials today, i figured i better get on the ball with it. i made a bag for my new perc, this bag is 24 inches tall and houses my tube perfectly, TONS of padding, zipper, drawstring, the works. now this is my first one ever! so they will inprove quite a bit. tommorow im gonna spend the day making hand peice pouches. i chose camo for mine because im a huge outdoor guy and go camping alot, but i wanted something that would match my pack and gear. after showing a buddy it he made comment that the color would be perfect for small pouches incase a person had to toss it, itd blend in, all the while keeping its contents safe and possibly retreivable. these would be perfect for on the go, with anything fragile, being that its a glass peice, sunglasses, guns, whatever. i had to do all the work at my parents house(no im not some 16 yer old, 24 actually and been independent since i was 17) and when my dad saw it he asked me to make a few in a differnt style for him to use for just a snigle weapon, such as packing a handgun and going to range, gets rid of having to carry a large hardcase for just one single weapon.
anyways heres a few pics of what i did tonite, and ill post more tommorow of the pouches, if anyones interested feel free to post what ur wanting and even a pic of the object going inside next to a ruler or something, i also have brown material along with this camo, and after i sell a couple will be buying ty-dye, and this peace sign fabric, and an assortment of differnt colors.
