Hydroponic systems

So, my 1st grow is coming along splendidly. Still waiting on them to show sex before I induce my 12/12 photoperiod...shouldn't be more than a couple weeks now. Anyway, if nobody has read my thread, I'm rocking a soil grow. Very pleased with progress so far. I'm not getting into any cloning or topping, but I have bent a couple of them because they are super bushy and not a lot of light getting down to the litte leaves. Anyway, I am curious about hydroponic systems. I don't have a lot of room, so I'm not sure if ebb and flow would be a wise choice. I have a 4x4 space to work with right now. I plan on adding a small 2x2 or 2x3 veg chamber after I see how this goes. With that said...what would all the more experienced horticulturists recommend for a 2nd or 3rd grow hydro system? Small NFT table? Maybe a DWC setup. I am really considering a small to medium drip set up. Based on my setup (4x4x6.5 ft. tent, 400W light, 200cfm fan) what do you guys suggest? Thank you all for the feedback. :leaf::-P

I have a small 2.5ftx2.5 ft ebbnflow system. It fits 15 5 in pots
But i use about 8 in it
Holds around 7 gallons of water. What are you intrested in? You can make a hydro system small enough to fit anywhere. Just get to thinking!

That's my only problem. I'm just not sure how I want to go about it. I'm thinking efficiency of the setup and how big I want to do it. I'm also considering what I'll need when I start new mothers from seed. I'm thinking a nice DWC would work for one big momma. This is all for personal use, so it's not like the plants need to be 6-8 feet tall. I was thinking of building small versions of DWC and drip systems. Maybe in 3 gal buckets...what do you think?

I made one from a 18 gallon tote. put 6 holes into the top with net pots and a pump in the bottom with a splitter and ran a line into each pot added an air stone and everything works great. very cheap also.

I make my DWC systems from 10 gallon Roughneck totes. 9 inches tall. Optimally maintain res at 4 gallons. When my plants are bushy I need to add about 2 liters per day, so you gotta check it every day so you don't run the pumps dry. Including PVC, sprayers, air pump/stone and water pump, it probably costs me around $50 to make it.

My thread has a modified hydro system may be alittle more complicated than you are looking for but it may inspire some ideas. Link is in my sig :)
