Hydrofarm Digital timers are CRAP!!!

Just thought I'd share my experience with this piece of shit digital timer I paid like $20 for.

NEVER, ever, ever again will I suggest another Hydrofarm product to another human being. I will be going out of my way to defame them as often as possible.

The timer doesn't work. You set it to Auto, you set the hours right, it turns on. And then it never turns off.

So I turn it off with the button manually. Status says off, indicator light is off.
I press the button again to return to Auto. The light remains off.
Pressing the button again will set the timer to "On" and the indicator light comes on.
Press the button one more time and it will return to Auto... but the indicator light remains on.

So it is set to Auto. It is after the time when the lights should be on... yet it's still fucking on. There's an Auto that leaves it on all the time regardless of the settings... and an Auto that remains off when it should be off, but then doesn't turn back off as scheduled. I've tried everything in the book.

Hydrofarm is a piece of shit company that deserves none of your money or support.

Take my word for it.

My home depot power strip one is up to two years now, and it's digital, has 4 timer controlled outlets. I paid $15.99 for it. I'm going back for another tomorrow. Can't believe that they could fail so miserably at something as simple as a timer. A fucking Hour Glass would be more reliable and those are 4,000 years old.

I've had the same problem with one of my timers aswell with the auto but mine works once i set it on than auto and once its suppose to turn off it turns off...but i have to agree that it is more frustrating than anything but its the only three prong timer i have so not much i can do at the moment

hahaha, hydrofarm makes legit products too. maybe something like that is to high tech for them ;)
Yeah, I'm sure someone has had luck with them before.

There's always a person who claims that their stuff is great and everyone should use it. I am definitely not one of those people. Been burned bad by them too many times now.

Rargh! Damn you Hydrofarm and your Pooch Screwing of my flowering schedule. Right now I'm running 12 hour 15 minute days (there abouts...) because I've been late to catch the timer myself.

Oh well, problem solved tomorrow with a $20 bill on a new timer and a cup of Jo. Still, my blood pressure can't take this BS! Blargh again!

I prefer analog.

More failsafe that digital timers. Don't need intervals less that 15 minutes for ebb & flow anyways

My hydro farm timer isnt shutting my lights all the way off. Had not noticed it until i switched every light in my house green and squatted down in my tent with all the lights off, i look up at the lights and they are dim, not all the way off. No wonder why my damn plants have been having a hard time flowering!!??? Hmmm! F you Hydrofarms and the shitty ass soda can equipment!!
