Hurricane Coming... Need advice soon about my plants.

Hello all. In the event of this hurricane hitting the coast soon near where I live, I am moving my plants into the basement from the garden, where it will be about 90% total darkness. My question is... what effect will this have on my plant if I leave them in pretty much total darkness for a good two days, and then take them back out to finish flowering? Is it bad to do this?? Or should I just leave them down there in the dark for an extra day and just harvest it? I'd say it still needs about a good week or two though and don'tr really wanna harvest early... No sign of amber yet anywhere. Thanks for the read!!

same boat bro. If its all milky trichomes and some hairs are turning then yea put it in the basement. with two weeks left not that much could happen in terms of hermie. IF it did it wouldnt have enough time to pollinate. If you put a few CFLs on a timer she should do fine. IF it gets shitty light its still getting light. IF it gets light during darkness thats when she gets pissed.

either way if your in her path pull em up or put em in the basement. DONT LEAVE THEM. we just had a wicked storm and my buddy thought oh shell be fine. 30-40mph winds showed him. The neighbors will have to harvest his. who knows what a hurrican will do.

I figure she'll start releasing more auxins while its super dark. There is a small window so it would just get like virtual no light for a bit then no light during dark.

I'm F.U.'ed here in Ga., I can't decide whether to put out into the cold for the light, or leave in.

Same boat basically. :(

Put her out. Night temps in the 30s and days in the 40s n 50s are all you can hope for this late. THeres nothing wrong with that. She will love the cool weather and will dense up a bit and may show some colors. Its better to have a cold sunny day then no day at all. Even a cloudy day is better then dark. I see the sun once a week and she did amazing.

Mine survied 6 frosts and 2 freezing rains. Some leafs purpled a bit but no damage. the worst it can get for her would be 27 degrees for longer then 6 hours with no recovery in the day. Check out that frost post thats always at the top of this section. Some good info in that
