Salutations friends, thanks for stopping in. Been some time since I attempted a journal, so please excuse my rust ;).

Jumping right into it, we have 5 feminized "Ghost of Trinity" seeds from Humboldt Seeds Organization. All 5 have cracked shell via germination in a cup of water, and have been planted respectively into Fox Farms Happy Frog mixture right out of the gate.

These ladies will start their lives under a T5 for the first few of weeks before moving onto a 1000 MH (only because 1000 is what i was gifted with.. going to see if i can dial the ballast down to make 600w using the same light? Not sure. I can always buy one too.). After the desired veg time, we will be moving onto a 1000 HPS for bloom.

I have yet to hang ducting, or inline fan as i will wait for the appropriate time when i hang the other hood.

Plants will be recieving full Fox Farm nutes, as its what I have on hand, and waste not want not yadda yadda. Ive had great results with their products in the past. Though I am curious about other brands, "if it aint broke dont break it". Right?

Good morning, afternoon, and or evening pending on where you are on this lovely rock.

Planted 5 feminized GoT (Ghost of Trinity) seeds 3 days ago on the 12th. As of this morning, all 5 have breached the ground. 4 of the 5 have shed the shells from their seed.

Hey you wanna be an amateur like me? Wait last minute to get all your supplies . No but seriously, i cant stress enough how being prepared changes everything. Humidity, nute measurements, PH, PPM.. All of those little things you dont think really matter, make such an impact once its all said and done. And that goes for most things in life. "By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail."

Thanks for stopping in!! Throw a like and be sure to stay tuned ;). Secrets

Warning: Longer post. Secrets ;)

4 out of 5 seedlings have survived the initial planting. Not upset with the outcome, but i kind of wish i had 1 more....

So, inconclusion to my feelings of wanting one more, i went and picked up a clone(s) . I would like to formally introduce these lovely 4 ladies.

1: Platinum Girl Scout Cookies
This Cup-winning hybrid -- a cross of OG Kush, Durban Poison, and a third unknown strain -- fills your nose and lungs with sweet notes of berry and candy, followed by a fruity spiciness.
7-9 weeks flower

2: Animal Mint
A cross between Animal Cookies, Girl Scout Cookies and Blue Power cannabis strains.
7-9 weeks flower

3. Kosher Kush
Winner of High Times Cannabis Cup’s Best Indica in 2010 and 2011, as well as Best Strain in 2011, Kosher Kush produces staggering levels of THC, with some samples testing over 29%.
7-9 weeks flower

4. Do-Si-Dos
Do-Si-Dos is an indica-dominant hybrid with qualities similar to its parent, GSC. With glittering trichomes, bright pistils, and lime green and lavender leaves, this strain is a feast for eyes.
7-9 weeks flower

In conjunction to getting more plants, I felt I had better set my MH up. So voila! That got put up. Along with my inline fan and proper ducting to cool lighting.

Temps have been staying from 70°F-77°F with humidity ranging 27%-38% (a little lower than id like. Going to grab humidifier.).

In order to keep the clones roughly the same height as seedlings, I'll be topping and training. Tops go off sometime this week after i transplant.

Cheers bongsmilie

It is day 8 for the young Ghosts, and the Ladies are still hanging in there. Just got watered. PH hanging around 6.4. Also took a moment to top the clones. Trying to keep thoses babes atleast close to the same height as the girls started from seed. Temperatures ranging from 70°F - 78°F, with humidity from 30% - 50%.

Hi Farmer Pat. Yep, as OG said, I grew DOS for 2 indoor and 1 outdoor grow.

This is actually a great one. Good strong high and amazing smell! Flavor is better the longer it cures. Easy plant to grow and a pretty good producer at 10 oz yield indoors.

The best word of advice on them I can give is provide plenty of calcium or silica to beef up the strength of the branches because the colas can get heavier than the branches can accommodate.

Here's mine from last grow, right before harvest and the yield after.

! Wowzas there buddy! Looks fantastic.

Do you have a journal for it? Id love to read more about someone elses experience with the strain. I appreciate any and all insight/knowledge that can help further mine and others education in the cultivation field. Thanks!

Well, i know im a little behind on pictures, but i promise i havent forgotten about the girls or you fellow fans of cultivation ;).

Well, Ive personally never Scrog anything myself before, but i thought this might be a good time to try since my ladies are so far apart in age/size. One of the girls was accidentally topped again in the process . Dont get too stoned before important tasks folks ;). Here's what we got thus far. First pics were taken just before I set the screen up.
