If you like to write but you don't have money to start a website, you can start your own website and start earning small amounts of money by creating a blog. Blogger is the best way to do this because it is connected with Google, so that helps with SEO (Search Engine Optimization). This is not my focus on here, my focus is history and plants and chemistry and stuff, but I figure I will share this with everyone so that they can start their own thing too. You can post about anything you want.

Once you have your blog up, you go to adsense and connect it to your blog. You might have to confirm your account via phone number or mail. They basically put you on a payroll. The way it works is every time you get $100 you get a check. They used to actually send a Physical checks (they might still send checks outside of America) but now they have you connect it with a Bank Account.

The way you earn money is by letting Adsense put ads on your blog (you might have to allow them by setting up a widget on the layout). Then it uses keywords from your blog posts to find ads that are semi-related to the topic of your blog post(s). Every time someone clicks an ad you get like a penny, maybe more if the person stays on the website advertised or if the advertiser pays more than usual advertisers.
You can set up your blog on IFTTT which will allow it to connect to Twitter, or Facebook. or pretty much anywhere you want.

And if you decide to make videos, your Blogger is also connected to Youtube, so you can make Youtube videos and post them on your Blog.

And both of those accounts are connected to Google+, so you can also share things to the Google+ Communities and stuff.

Eventually you can use earnings from Blogger to start a website, I am pretty sure I will be able to do that this year sometime.
