How to Add Mushroom Compost to the Growing Medium?

I love also growing king and Oyster Mushrooms and the Medium i grow the Mycelium with are Coco and coffee grounds. After the Mushrooms are harvested the Mushroom compost are a very good think to add to my growing medium "Biobizz Light Mix" but i don't know how much i need to add?

i would honestly start a worm bin, and use that as part of the bedding. i bet that would work awesome. Congrats on the mushrooms. I'm in the mycology club at my school. we're working with a couple oysters, grifola frondosa, hericium, and a couple bioluminescent just for funzies. I'll be putting the spent substrates through the worm bin. I hear the worms love mycelium!

Has to be composted first. I add spent mushroom subs to either my worm bin or to an outdoor compost pile. Depends upon how nasty it is...if it stinks definitely toss it outside. If you have a lot the compost pile is probably the best place to let it break down. Once it is turned to compost you can add it to your recycling soil along with any other amendments; spent subs don't contain much in the way of NPK value but will help fungi dominate your containers.

It is dry and the Mycelium is dead so it is composed ore not? It is better to sterelised the Mushroom compost bevor adding to the soil?

Technically no it is not composted. there is still a lot of mycelium that needs to be broken down. no need to sterilize because composting it will sterilize it in a sense. but adding it straight to your medium would not be advisable. It should be composted first most definitely. technically what you have is not compost yet, it's just spent medium. compost infers that it has been broken down into humus. your substrate is not humus yet.
