How the fuck do I clean a pipe

I just hold my pipe upside down and light a flame under the bowl for about 5-10 seconds, then scrape out resin with a paper clip and blaze off the resin.. but that's a glass pipe I can see through, not sure about a metal pipe.

Which is why I would recommend getting sea salt, the kind that comes in its own grinder.
