Main point here is that
if you have the space and light
60 days veg will yeild you more in a 12 month year than 30 days veg perpetual SCROG with all training.
Meaning when you harvest you already have rooted clones ready to be put in veg for the next round.
Correct or am I wrong here?

I just switched out my bulbs and ballasts. 6, 1000watt hps hortilux. 8inch block buster hoods, 8inch max fan. house and garden nutes.

yes I'm heading that way. want to put 3 gavitas over that same space 5 foot by 12 foot. thats where my sog will come in handy . will give me plenty of height

Yeah.
Im going to be running 4 gavitas or 4 Phillips 1k DE with Raptor DE hoods and Solis Tek DE ballasts.
I want to find out the par output difference between the two.
I want to veg 24 Plants in 5 gallon ebb and flow for 60 days then flower and see how that goes for yeild.

I think that would be a very noble thing to do, test it. it could be a total waste of time and then at least others would know. I'm curious of how long to veg before its a waste of time

So around 12 lbs give or take. Nice mate.
Using the gavitas or DE in general will help your yeild as the penitration is just absurd with those fixtures.

are the raptor hoods the ones by hydropharm or are they differnt for the gavitas? they still can't air cool those?

I will start a thread once I get my supplies so we can all see if vegging longer will give us substantially better yeilds.
Plus Ill be using DE so if anything can do it DE can.

Air colling DE actuially hurts the spectrum and PAR as said by a Gavita rep.
Colling them is bad but cooling your room is good
