Overkill.2×3m = 6m2 =~ 65 ft2, going by 40-50 watts/f2, you will need between 8-10 315cmhs
True, a single 315CMH should flower a 3×3 ft2, or ~1m2, so a minimum of 6 315 Cmhs.Overkill.
What makes you think we haven't grown with 315's?Unless you have plants under 315s, or pics of past plants, these opines are just guesses.. Buy a couple lights for your first grow.. Then grow a couple plants... I prefer 1 light 1 plant.. Scroged.. A 315 will do a sq. meter, or one plant that can yield 1 lb.. In 100 days.. Leaving room for people will eliminate a couple lights.. Now that you have the light problem solved, lets talk about how you'll be growing the plants... That's where the real problems start..
Pj is correct. Honestly Ill stick to my leds but cmh are good IMO for a good 2x2 for flower. This is of course my opinion based on what I know and have done using most lights out there.More like who really cares.. Lets see'em
I use LED and CMH together during the colder months. I figure I get a better bank for the buck warming the leaf surface with all the wonderful IR from CMH vs using a unit heater to heat the space. Plus you get all that wonderful light on your canopy as a byproduct of the 315w heater.Pj is correct. Honestly Ill stick to my leds but cmh are good IMO for a good 2x2 for flower.
