How many 315w cmh do i need

Hello all I have a loft grow that I am doing 10 photoperiods in 40l pots.
The room is around 3mx2m.
I am thinking about using 4 315w cmh cooltubes 10inch intake. Would that many lights be okay or will I need 6 to 8

Unless you have plants under 315s, or pics of past plants, these opines are just guesses.. Buy a couple lights for your first grow.. Then grow a couple plants... I prefer 1 light 1 plant.. Scroged.. A 315 will do a sq. meter, or one plant that can yield 1 lb.. In 100 days.. Leaving room for people will eliminate a couple lights.. Now that you have the light problem solved, lets talk about how you'll be growing the plants... That's where the real problems start..

What makes you think we haven't grown with 315's?

I use LED and CMH together during the colder months. I figure I get a better bank for the buck warming the leaf surface with all the wonderful IR from CMH vs using a unit heater to heat the space. Plus you get all that wonderful light on your canopy as a byproduct of the 315w heater.
