How late is too late?

I highly doubt it but is it ever too late in the summer to start new plants? I figure as long as the days are still long they will be fine. I realize the yield will be smaller but I have kind of a chance opportunity.

If you havent Id go for it a later October harvest is possible depending on your climate. I started som clones last month that I hope will be late finishers, I care less about the yield since my mothers look like will have a good yield

imo its never too late. im always planting random bagseed all the time in addition to my main crop. the way i look at it is, some bud is better than no bud. but if you have some quality seeds i would save them though.

I live in Vermont and i just put 30 seeds in some 1 oz cups. I figure i might get a gram off each, and i wana trying growing some small Bonsai =p. If you have some seeds why not try?

I've noticed that smaller plants started later in the year take longer to START flowering then more mature plants that were started in the spring.

I know "obvious" but, it's the truth!

No reason not to try though!

haha i thought that was new hampshire? I'm actually in MA and I'm getting LR2 x AK seeds today, as in my friends received them. So the way I think of it, its a good practice run at the very least, and its still sunny for 12+ hours outside so these autoflowers will be fine to produce a small yield.

I found a small plant that must have sprouted in my backyard from a dropped bagseed. The seed was dropped in late september. The first I saw it was late November. It was leaveless and a tiny little bud sittin on her head...bout a gram.

This is the result of a seed just getting dropped and it did that. No telling what some soil prep and some TLC would have help with.

That tiny little bud is what showed me what MJ looks like when its done.

I say if its just bagseed go ahead you have nothing to loose
