How do you feel about handheld sensors? The one below measures CO2, temp, and humidity. I like that I can use/calibrate ONE sensor and use it in every tent/grow station. So, unlike a sensor in a fixed spot, I can get an idea where there might be peaks/valleys in temp, RH, CO2. I also don't like the idea of buying a bunch of cheap ones.... One good one, right? Obviously portable ACs, dehumidifiers, and other devices have their own sensors. I have a couple extra sensors (not CO2) ... but they're fixed in place and don't give me a good read of the whole room.

Separately, if you want to measure a bud's moisture content to help determine when to jar a dry-hanging plant ... and record that data every round until you've dialed-in the dry time for a particular strain, of a particular size, shape, and # of branches, ... can you just stab a sample with the same type of sensor you might use for drywall? There are pinless/non-stabbing models ... I'm just not sure they'd work with cannabis. Looks like you need a flat surface to lay the back of the sensor flat, so sample stabbing seems preferable.

Likewise, I've seen the small moisture meters that look like microphones. Although I can see them being good for measuring moisture in a jar, I'm not sure it would be an accurate measure of the bud itself. That's what I want to know, I just don't want to buy more than one device to figure it out.

RH is a good indicator, but I'd like to know the moisture content anyway. I want to find out what bud looks like between 10-20% moisture. Below a certain point, you're probably pissing away $$.

this pic is from a video online (showing trash weed btw...). at least it confirms that these types of meters will work (fairly accurately).

might as well get the one that also measures humidity. i'll record data while an intact plant is hanging, and later in jars. maybe even while it's growing if i can't stop myself from poking all the weed to measure everywhere ... because, well, who wouldn't want to know disparities in moisture between branch height/possibly proximity to light ... the more you know, the more issues you can fix ... great.
