How Do You Clean Your Glass?

So for my pipe I usually just ran it through really really hot water, but lol now that I have a 18 inch bong, it cant quite fit, so whats the best method of cleaning, especially things like the perc?

i've read somewhere that u should put some alcohol with thick salt or rise + hot water and shake it

420 cleaner

the salt is simply an abrasive to help knock the resins loose. you may have to rinse it several times to get it all.

for my small piece i usually run really hot water through it after i put a little dish detergent in it, do that a few times over and most of it comes out. for larger pieces i would let it sit in the 420 cleaners they sell in head shops

any kind of solvent will work wonders .. i was , well am a printer, and i would take my pieces into work and soak them with all kinds of good stuff like isopropyl alcohol. methyl ethyl ketone, normal proply actetate, ethal ecetate, denatured alcohol, butyl acetate, etc.. any of these things will do wonders on your glass products.. just make sure to wash them out well with some plain tap water when you're done with any heave chemicals like the ones i mentioned..
i've tried the salt thing before, but tbh, i don't think it does much so now i prefer to safe it for my popcorn..

Be careful with using hot water and glass. I've seen my fair share of pieces crack and break due to hot water.

Throw your piece in a bag with some coarse ground salt and water and shake it up and let it sit for 20 minutes then shake it up again. Rinse and Repeat if necessary.

Hot or when necessary boiling water

i physically scrape, then use alcohol, then water.
for my bong i use alcohol and rock salt (ice cream salt works really good, it's large and chunky).
