its been said that Hindu kush it is a big yielder ,my concerns are the huge buds are dense and prone to bud rot . need some help here
from our brother hood especially those with experience growing the Kush strains. All comments appreciated.

So long as you get decent airflow you should be okay, unless you get crazy high humidity where you are. There are also strains of bacteria that prevent bud rot, bacillus subtilis, I think. I used potassium bicarbonate as a preventive as well.

Thanks for your response.

I have a question looking on how to grow Hindu Kush and what it says the Yield is going to be is that in dry weight or wet weight? And for future reference is that going to be any yield you look at when buying seeds if it gives you that info on the site?

Thanks for your question Nicenuggs2020, Hindu Kush is a high yielder ,but it depends on how long you veg them . I like to let mine veg for at least five months so I can get them a big as I can in 30 gal smart bags ,I have hopes of getting at least two lbs per plant. and that is in dry weight. I don't grow meds just for myself but others as well. so yes that is what I look for when buying seeds.

Try 200 gal air pots

I’m going to growing indoors but the main question really is the yield it says when buying seeds is that considered dry weight or wet weight?

That all depends on how well you feed and how healthy the plant is through its life cycle.

The healthier the plant and the healthier the roots the higher the yield.

Sometimes you can have a healthy plant but not have healthy roots and vise-versa.

Sometimes your plants can be so healthy all the way around that it yields double!

It all comes with experience.

Thanks for that info I do know the healthier the better overall and I haven’t grown in 9+years so I’m back at the “beginner” stage and this time I’m going to be using coco coir. When I did before it was the TGA super soil I used so hopefully the coco coir will work great for me I’ve never done it before
