Highest yield

Whats up people! Im new here and working on my first grow with nirvana new york power diesel and i was wondering if someone can give me an idea as to how to get the highest possible yield? Im using a 3x3x6.5 tent with a 600w mh and hps light although im using fluorescents to begin with. So how many plants and which grow method would be best to get the highest amount of buds?

Also what pot size? Im open to all suggestions, thanx guys!

The bigger the pot the better. And Organic is the best, amending your own soil with things of that nature. Let the plant be in control. No need for toxic salts, and or other inorganic fertilizers unless you like to spend money, and have a headache.

I would do 4 plants max in that tent. Also I hope you have a good exhaust fan - at least 400 cfm. That 600w will kick out some serious heat.

I also suggest square pots as they waste no space. I use 18L square pots which is 4.75 gallon.

Use LST to train multiple tops. Then once stretching begins use pipe cleaners with small weights attached to bend the tops outwards - this opens the middle up. This way you never need to cut the plant, get multiple tops, and have extra bud sites in the middle. Using this method and 20 litre pots I upped my yields significantly.

Organic is great and a fine way to grow. No need to spread misinformation though. Nutrients are nutrients from the plants perspective. By the time the plant uses it, an element will be in the same form whether it came from worm castings or miracle grow plant food. There is nothing toxic about non organic fertilization if used properly indoors.

Organic growing isn't free nor is it without headaches of ts own.

if yield is your main goal, I think a hydroponic system would come out on top.

My advice for your first grow is: grow fewer plants and veg them longer before flowering. 3 plants in 5 gal pots. I would use soil and an easy, inexpensive fertilizer like DynaGro.

React to the plants, don't make them react to you.
