I have a feeling that I caused several of my seedlings to show their sex as Male when they might have been Female, because I stressed them by topping them. When is the ideal time to top a plant and not worry about stress ?

I don't. I just got 5 males out of 7, read about stress and Hermies and don't even know if it would be possible. Just got me to thinking. Is there a chance of affecting sex by stress at early veg stage?
