Herb IQ update.

I have used herb iq for several years and found it to be invaluable for keeepings notes and reminders. Recently windows did an automatic update and now herbiq wont run. I tried going back to previous settings but windows keeps loading the update. Any help would be appreciated.

1 did u back up your files regularly ( herb iq makes a data file in the folder it is in that is the important thing ) make sure u grab and store away on flash drive

2 what windows are u

Maybe you have to remove the grow from the PC

welcome to windows 10, probably likely herb iq is not formatted for windows 10 compatibility.
does herb iq not have a email or something you can contact them at?
i assume not ....

Go on line and download the latest version.

Try deleting and reload the program.

Before deleting anything be sure to copy and paste anything you :"think" you might need into a back-up folder. Later when the program is restored you'll be able to open these saved files in the back-up folder and maybe add them back to the program.

You can install OpenBox (virutal machine) in Windows and install an older version of Windows (with auto updates disabled so you don't get shoved into Win10).

it is a windows 10 issue

as a net geek .....i am telling u now to revert back to windows 7 it is much more stable and they have no tracking software installed like windows 10 (why do u think they were giving it away for free it is a mass data miner that u agreed to share info with Microsoft so they can collect it and tailor adds and other things to us they show in the live screen)

windows 10 is crap ......all the hackers/geeks and gamers know this windows 8 is crap too

go to where the herbiq is installed grab that file i told u about and redo your system back to windows 7

Must agree. If you are going to use a PC instead of a Mac, windows 7 is far better than 8 or 10.
Do you have any sources to support your claim that windows 10 is a "tracking software"? Or is that your gut feeling?

those 2 good or need more .........rem data is priceless with enough of it u can make predictive models based on trends they do this for stock market .....they are just taking it bigger

is scary but at this time most ppl are hooked into the web ........the right software they all use that info of what they do where they go and all that can be used to predicted future trends and cash in on it

so what is the best way to get a large section of the world to add info to the data base to get it off the ground ......give it away for free (ppl will take free with out ? every time) and most ppl are not computer friendly (why they made windows 8 and why 10 is designed like a coloring book)

windows 7 is much better, but you should know that within a while windows 7 will become obsolete and unfortunately will not work with basic things like internet browsing etc.

true but thanks to a few programmers .......it will be here until something better comes out or we all move to unix
