5 week old plant grown from seed. NL #5 X Haze.
At first I realized this strain was super sensetive to nutes and started out with a mild case of nute burn. After transplanting from a hydro setup to soil (wanted to try something different), the plant really took off until these problems surfaced. From the research I have done, it looks as if I have a calcium or magnesium defeciency. I spent several hundred on the advanced nutrient line and don't understand how I can end up with a deficiency. Soil pH is 7.0 every time I check it. My nutes are calculated every time I feed. I might also add that new growth is starting to pick up and looks normal.
- Roots organics soil-less
- Advanced Nutrients
- Distilled Water
- Temp is solid @ 75 degrees
- Humidity is @ 40%

hey man im using just soil with miracle grow and cfls and mine are twice as bushy

Follow these directions:

flush with pure water for a couple days
dont use those soil ph testers they suck
when using advanced nutes always start y diluting by 50% and work your way up, ive never used the crap but its common knowledge as a grower, watch them closely
and lastly cut all the dead bits off at least 2 mm back from where its dieing, if its yellow, brown, crispy whatever its not gonna come back so get rid of it just incase it spreads
good luck happy grow

nute burn. flush the system ,only water for a week then resume veg nutes at 30% less than what youwereusing .when the plant gets 2x that size go back to full nutes.

All the good advice was given, no more help can really be given. Flush and stop feeding them so much invest in a ph/ppm meter.
