Help ID-ing Strain please!

Hi there -- my first time growing, I got seeds that were supposed to be Durban Poison -- and now that i'm late in the game I have to believe these are two different strains.
Plant 1: thicker, bigger, bushier and each branch has more sub branches that shoot off it - so there's a bunch of clumps of flower on each branch. Smells kinda fruity and sweet (i don't have a great vocab for describing the smells - sorry)
Plant 2: thinner, pointier, each branch has fewer sub branches and the cola is kinda like a single line of bud running about 12-14 inches. Smells kinda astringent and lemony - definitely less sweet/fruity than the other plant.

Pics are attached -- if anyone has any idea which of the two (if either) sounds more like durban, or any ideas what might be going on - i'd love to learn. thanks!

They're just different phenotypes. No 2 plants from seeds will be exactly the same. That's the beauty of clones.

that makes sense -- even though they were next to each other they did have pretty different growing conditions -- one in a much larger raised bed that had been growing garlic and tomatoes, and the other in a smaller pot that had been growing lemongrass and sage (and also a bit more shaded). totally makes sense that the different conditions would pull different characteristics out of the seed. guess now I just have to see which one i like better :)

thanks @Kerowacked --- whats a reveg? -- this is all new to me.
Its when a plant starts to flower then goes back to veg. Outdoors its not uncommon for plants started indoor under 18/6 lighting that get put out in May. 13-14 hour daylight flips them, then as the days keep getting longer they reveg. Some do, some don’t.

Think about kids. No 2 brothers or sisters are gonna look identical unless they're twins. Some genes are more dominant though. Think about some of the NFL brother like Eli and Payton Manning. They both have skills. I don't know if I'm making any sense. I'm high, lol.

You could have grown those 2 seeds in the exact same conditions and they would still have grown differently. You're not going to change genetics by having one plant in a raised bed and the other not.

gotcha. will they both generally smoke like durban poison -- just with slightly different flavors?
and i suppose each kid needs their own name. the smaller plant is Ragnarok. The bigger one is Young Thor.

The true Durban is a squat plant for a sativa. I had one, but never saw it flower. I had to choose what plants I wanted and so I tossed it, but I regret it now. She was a beauty. I should have taken out one of the plants that I had more than one of instead. It's all good though, I'll get it again someday.

This might help.

We're not even sure what you have is even a true Durban. Without knowing the history of the seeds I wouldn't even know if they were the same strain. Supposed to be Durban Poison isn't enough to really go on. Both will probably be good smoke. Just grow them and enjoy them. They're both nice looking plants that should give you a decent harvest.

Good luck.

The seeds were from crop king seeds -- i say 'supposed to be' just cause I have no idea what sort of quality control they have - or not. But yeah - most important the flowers are looking great -- and the haul is looking like it will be massive.
