i was a walmart and saw a 300W halogene bulb that has 6100 lumes. would this be better than my 2 100W equvilent cfl's per plant (3400 lumes) per plant? Ive heard halogenes do not work

also should you use vinigar to play with the ph?

I think halogens produce ALOT of heat which requires fans which cost money and make noise.

You can use vinegar to increase pH and Baking Soda to decrease it (or is it the other way around?). You'll need a pH tester/litmus paper etc. the test for it.

It's the other way around. Acids are low in pH. :)

I definitely definitely DEFINITELY suggest against the halogen bulb. Way too much energy goes to heat, which is both cost inefficient and a fire hazard, especially in a closed in area.

Well it's like the math wiz, top 10 in the class student from my high school who calculated his BMI to be 150 or something.

The further in things you go, the more likely you are to mess up the basics. =p
