I need some advice in a hurry, I have all kinds of pics of my room, its insulated but the floor is dirt and very cold. with 2 small pelonis heaters on med-high its 46 at the ground level, and 62 at the 4' and above. I really need to know what I should do? should I get some insulation board for the floor and a bigger heater. these temps are with my 1K light off. with the light on temps get quite a bit warmer but floor never gets above 70 with the light on. ceiling gets way too hot but I haven't got my fan and exhaust even going yet

Don't put the plants directly on it. Get some foam insulation, cut it to shape and put it on the floor.

I would build a floor on 2 x 4s. Lay the studs flat on the ground (on top of your plastic) and cover with a sheet of plywood. This will make a 1 1/2 inch air gap beneath the floor. If you want to go all out put some foam insulation between the studs, but just creating the air gap will do a lot toward insulating your room.

Do you not have any spill when watering as far as knowing when to stop once a little comes out of the bottom of planter pot? im a first time grower and wanted to make sure I wasn't spilling to much on insulation board as opposed to spilling on dirt floors, mold issues if to much humidity right.

OK... my grow room has a "dirt" floor, and it's 20 f outside, the floor gets to 45 f or so...
The floor doesn't come into play....
I grow on a shelving unit... if I spill it goes through it, and drips on floor... no big deal...
I NEVER use a heater... My 18 hours of light, heats up the room pretty good, and shares air with the bud room ... they share 6 hours of light on together...
The area, between your canopy, top, and the bottom of your lights is where the temp gauge should be... this area will run 4-8 points lower RH and 4-8 degrees hotter ....
The plants bottom is three feet off ground...

I use things to catch the run off so it doesn't go all over the place.
