Harry Kush Clone From LaConte's Clone Bar and Dispensary in Denver

So I got this clone from LaContes Dispensary in Denver. Harry Kush is the strain if the clone. It came in a rockwool cube and I planted it directly into a small pot with fox farms ocean forest mix. I have it under a 400 watt hps. But I wasn't sure how it would take to the his because its been under t8s at the store. So I have the ballast set to only 25%. After a week I plan on turning the ballast up to 50%. I also have a 4' tube light fixtureon the side with T5s in it mixed spectrum. Also have an L.ED. flood light that is on the blue end of the Kelvin scale. I have a 4 inch intake bringing fresh air in all the time. It doesnt shut off unless I shut it off. Then I have a 4 inch exhaust fan with a carbon scrubber above my light to help suck out the heat. It runs 15 minutes on 15 minutes off. I also have a couple more fans directed at the clone to simulate wind and also help dissipate radiant heat from the lights. Not sure about the rockwool at all though. Never had any experience with it. Anything I should pay attention to? Any advice? Tips? Constructive criticism welcome. I can take pics if needed or wanted.

I think its awesome that you're running in a shower! I'm jealous lol must be super easy to clean up & you've got water literally right there. Your clone looks really good, nice & green! I dont have any experience with rockwool either, shit I dont have much experience at all! Aside from when I grew in college with bagseed dirt from the backyard, tap water & t5' and a few summers at a vegetable/flower farm. I dont count any of that it's a completely different ballgame. I'll tell ya though, I kill it when it comes to growing vegetables lol. I dont know about rockwool either, sorry I couldn't help you out there. I'm here for moral support!

I'm sure you have read some of the forums here. Trust me, I know its alot to take in & can be overwhelming! I'm also new here. The people on here seem to know their shit! Not like the dudes at the hydro store who just want to try & sell you all kinds of shit & seem to think they are growing gods. I cant say that's every place though, just the store near me I've delt with. The folks who have jumped on my thread to help have been really nice and very encouraging! I'll write a post on my thread to ask if they could come over & check you out! Obviously we dont know one another from a hole in the wall. we both obviously lack knowledge, but at the end of the day good buddy, we are here for the same reason! If you do have any questions I'll try my best to help. if I dont know I'll tell you straight up & I'll try and help you find the info on your question because I'm sure it's something I'll need help with as well.

Update on my clone. Lots of good growth so far! No nutes have been added at all yet! But when I do ill be using fox farms dirty dozen. I've used them in the past with great results. Also my soil is fox farms ocean forest mix. It became my favorite when I started fooling around with growing years ago. Anybody else use fox farm nutes and soil with good results?

I'm sorry I cant be much help yet! The moral support helps I hope lol. They are still looking good! I know enough to get my self by but still not enough to advise you. I see that shes still very green so I know shes doing good based on color!
I'm still trying to find my way on the site too. It reminds me of a mid 90' site lol there are lots of sites dedicated to our "Hobby" but I liked riu the most! Seems like this was one of the first sites around & many people have been here for years. I choose riu based simply on the information people have written! Dont get me wrong there are other places with some good info but those sites seem more high tec & very commericialised. I couldn't read one fucking sentence on those sites without some damn banner popping up telling me I need to buy something. I really like that about riu. Yes the have people on here promoting their company which is awesome but they dont shove all kinds of add' & pop ups onto your screen.

I definitely look forward to helping one another out & learning together over the next year and on. Shit once we get to know one another I'll jump on my bike & ride out to visit you sometime. It would be cool to burn a few with you! I've only been to Aspin, twice now but it was when I was in my early 20'. I went out there to visit a friend who was a ski instructor for a few weeks both times. It was surreal, we didnt leave Aspin but either way it's a beautiful state! People there are very kind & super laid back. It was just amazing all around. I also loved that just about every gondola ride I went on people were burning it down. It was a blast, I got extremely stoned and got to snowboard some beautiful trails. I would definitely do it again!

I totally agree! Colorado is just beautiful in general but Aspen is like its own little world too! And its beautiful any time of year! Lots of nice good people and awesome weed! Lol Im always down to blaze!!

Update on the clone "Harry Kush" which I now believe may actually be Harry Potter Kush. After looking for the strain "Harry Kush" online I've only found "Harry Potter Kush". Learning curve I guess!? Lol anyways I pinched the top last night a couple hours before my lights shut off. Pretty explosive growth! Only had 8 or 9 nodes when I did it. Checked it just a few minutes ago and its starting its 11th node!! I'm very pleased with that kind of response. Oh also 4 hours before I pinched the top I bumped my ballast up to 75% and also moved the light up a total of 5 clicks on my pulleys. So a couple inches higher. It has definitely created more heat so my exhaust fan runs from the time lights come on at 6am till they shut off at 11. Then its on and off every 15ish minutes.

Yes it is my friend yes it is. Not to put a damper on the mood but I'm about to rip my fucking hair out. Trying to buy beans for a decent price is insane! I've gone through every fucking seedbank you can imagine to try & buy some fastbuds gear. I can find em for really good prices overseas but of course no one takes a damn credit card from anyone in the states. It's either bitcoin which you have to pay a tax on at the end of the year for every purchess, a bank transfer which costs almost 50.00 plus whatever the receiving bank charges or to trust and send cash through the mail, yeah no! Then you can find em here in the states but its 50.00 a pack & they take a card but I've seen nothing but bad reviews on us banks. It's been legal in Massshitholeachusetts since 2016 but only one despencery has a license that they just got in the beginning of july. They still dont sell other than medical patients & even though they have a rec license no one has stepped up to get a lab license. I dont mind paying the 50 for 5 beans in the states. I'm just worried about shitty banks ripping me off! Nothing but straight shit reviews on every us bank. My goal was to buy 4 packs at 30.00 a pop two sativa & two indica & run two of each at a time. Im seriously about to just give up all together & send all the equipment I've bought back for a refund and call it a day! Why is it so hard for companies to be honest. O yeah then most places want to charge you extra to ship gear in original packaging, what kid of fucking bullshit is that. That's insane. That's like me going to the China chow place to order food. They say its chicken but I have a feeling it's my neighbors dog that's been missing 2 weeks. Sorry but just because you put a few beans in a bag & write gg auto on it does not always mean you're really getting that gg auto. Fuck sake it could be all Male photos for all I know! Shady shit man shady shit. I did find one bank that got good reviews then I searched more and it seems like that once they got their name out there they started slipping up. I messaged them earlier to ask about their strains & genetics because I couldn't find any clear info. The bitch had the nerve to tell me to look it up my self lmfao. It's your seedbank you work there & couldn't give me any info or recommendations on what you sell. Lol ok end rant.

Damn that's crazy! I havent done any research into seeds yet. I'm going to have to soon though cause id like to have more going before I harvest this one. I do know males will form what looks like a little ball sack at each node of the plant early flowering. Females will have little hairs shooting out of the pistols at each node. I know a little tiny bit lol as for the seeds though I haven't quite had the experience of buying them. Unless they came out of some awesome weed I was smoking. I did have a cousin that got into growing years back guerrilla style in closets, he would buy seeds from a site called Nirvana Seeds. They were in Amsterdam I believe, could be wrong. He had no problem using his debit card to buy them. Some US banks wont let you make a purchase like that even if your in a legal state. bummer I know. My bank would let me buy from that online store but his would. Now once he got his seeds he was happy until some if his autos weren't coming out right at all. Some did some didn't. Also came with like 10-20 freebies that could be male or female and any strain. NONE of those seeds grew. They would pop and stall out. I actually had that same problem with the bag seeds I have. That's why I bought a clone from a store I personally know grows awesome quality cheap dankness. And just an fyi incase you didn't know, you do not have to be a resident of Colorado to purchase clones! And more than that?!?! Any clones purchased do not count against your weed purchase limit! My clone cost me 25$ plus another 80$ for my ounce which is awesome because I'm always on a budget anymore lol

Yeah it's a bit crazy bro. I wish I could order from CO. I checked out nirvana seems like they only carry their own gear & not many autos. I've also read numerous posts saying their duds lol lots of post' are not up to date anywhere you look. I'm really not giving up it just annoying as fuck. I think I'm just going to have to suck it up and get bitcoin & order from gorilla. I'll let you know what's up though, hopefully save you some time & aggravation!

Clone update! I topped her finally. Or fim. Either way I took the top node to allow the lower branches to really shoot up. She looks really good to me. I'm pretty pumped about it!

Clone update! I have staked down lower branches to help shape my clone as it grows. Already noticeable growth since I topped. Very pleased so far! Pictures aren't that great but in a few weeks I have a feeling she's gunna be massive!

Clone update! Did some more staking. Finally did week 1 feed today! I checked my ph level of the feed and had to lower it. Was about 8.2 before I added ph down till it was 6.5. Then watered. I collected all of my run off to check the ph of it and it went down to about 5.4. Anybody know if that's good or bad?
