Growing Bud For The 1st Time

I started growing marjuana for the first time about 3 weeks ago. I wasnt serious at first but when i planted the few seeds 3 plants popped up so i figured id plant more so i went and bought a planter thats about 2 feet long and about 8 inches wide to plant more. And it has about 6 inches of Soil in it, and im using a 250 watt heat light. the lights about a foot and a half from the newly growing seeds. With a fan keeping it nice and cool in there.

Heat light is not good for them. Try CFLs or a HID of some sort to promote better growth. Also don't crowd the plants too much. How do they look? Any pics sir?

sorry no pics. Im only growing 3 plants. The space there growing in is about 3 feet wide and 8 feet high. What kind of light do i need to get. are they exspensive?
