Freezing Buds

Have got my buds in glass jars. To freeze them is it just a case of putting the kilner jar in the freezer. How long does bud last for in the freezer. And what does freezing actually do? Do you have to defrost it?

i put buds in a ziplock and froze them two years ago. They are still as potent and they were when i froze them. Don't know how long they will last though.

Didn't have to defrost, they don't get "frosted". Smokable one hour taken from freezer, probably sooner than an hour.

Don't know about glass jars. I've read that some vacuum pack in bags then freeze.

I have smoked weed that was in mason jars in my freezer for 2 years that smoked just like the day it went in!

In jars it can last years even without going in the freezer.

I haven't tried it, so I can't advise. It might pay to warn you however, that it may cause the trichomes to become brittle and break off.

anything i put into the freezer ends up as kief. it's trim that doesn't get sold. it's my own private stash that lasts forever and is so strong it makes my jaw numb.
