Hey all,
1st grow report here, seen many great grows and picked up a lot of info here so I thought Id post some progress of my own.
Have ordered some beans recently and ended up with a bunch of freebies so I popped em all hopin to find a keeper to clone off.
Strains used: 1 x DNA Chocolate fondue, 1 x MK Ultra, 1 x Cotton Candy, 1 x fem skunk#1, 1 x skunk x white widow.
Light used: 600w HPS lumatek digi ballast
Growroom: 4 x 4 cheap ebay tent
Medium: 70% coco/30% perlite
Nutes: Canna coco a & b + canna pk
This is now my 4rd grow and sad to say the 1st 3 grows ended with really shit results. Mostly shit genetics and also some grower error.
So yeah my patience is running low!
Anyways these ladies are at day 34 from 12/12.
Photos left to right:
Skunk # 1
Group shot
Lank ass skunk xwhite widow
Cotton Candy
Choc fondue
Cotton Candy again cos I like it
Sorry for the noob pic posting will get better shots as they progress under normal light.
So far I am really liking the cotton candy. Has this really sweet smell to it and has the most amount of frost of em all.
Very sativa dominant, but Im liking the structure of it, jack all leaves and trimming will be easy
As for the others mmm...not looking that great but still too early to tell.
One problem Ive started noticing is that the leaves are starting to burn at the tip and curling up. Checked my runoff ec yesterday and hell my ec pen gave me an error code cos it was so high lol.. Freaked out as its my 1st coco grow but flushed them all out today with plain tap water until the runoff was te same ec levl as the water (now 0.5).
Now I've been using the nutes at around 3mls/litre or 15ml/gallon for the last few weeks with RO/DI water with 0 ppm but it appears to be a bit much so I'll be backing that down and feeding at around ec 1.0 from now on.
I'm stil guessing that its the nute strength that is the problem but still not 100% sure... what do u guys reckon?
