For perpetual bloom, do you put a new plant in ~2 weeks before the other plant's harvested?

There's room for direct light on the plant starting bloom. I just don't want to limit its yield with insufficient light/space/air during the first 1-2 weeks.

I can go into more specifics, as I'm rotating 8 strains, and have shelf space (and space between shelves, for taller plants) assigned to certain strains, based on how they grow.... What are your preferences? I'm already getting a bump in yield with perpetual bloom, but getting a plant in bloom before an earlier plant finishes would be another incremental bump (e.g., yield/month) and it would help avoid overcrowding in my veg stations.
