Flowering with a 11/13

Alright I was told that for my last few weeks I should be using the 13 dark and 11 light. Apparently it will produce more THC and fatten up the buds.. Can any of the experts or somebody with experience let me know what they think??

I've always gone more light the last few days sometimes 24/0 for the last three days this usually helps push the plant to fully ripen, not that i'm harvesting early but the extra light changes them slightly makes them look better. I've never tried shorted light cycles except to hurry flowering along on a rushed grow may be saved 3 days but its hard to tell as for more thc i don't see how less light/less energy would cause the plant to produce more crystals I've always used the more light more bud idea.

it makes sense to shorten the day time and lengthen the nights because it will tell the plant to put all it's energy into making flowers. Otherwise 24 hour day would only induce veg growth again. and again some people even say to use a long dark period for harvesting...try and learn.

i read somewhere that for WW you can put it in a dark room for two weeks prior to harvest to induce more crystals!!!!!!! i imagine that you can do this to any plant though. i haven't tried this yet but i will. i will try and find a link for you guys after i submit this post.

I used 13/11 for getting them to flowering! But switched back to 12/12!

Sweet thanks man.. I am going to go and read it up.. I was just watching a grow video and the guy was saying that once the hairs started to turn red to go ahead and actually give it more light time. He was saying that the 12/12 rule doesn't apply for the last few weeks and it will actually increase the THC. Now I am really confused.. here is the link to the video.. ya i got something to work. is it the one with the rap at first? and with the fat guy that is always wearing the white lab coat? it cut off on me at 25 mins. i had to dowload divx playing and stuff.

so what did you think of it??

Im growing nirvana WW! So that mean you shut off the light for the last two week and when do yo start flushing, and what is the last day for watering? Thanks

You shut your lights off for 2 weeks??? Wow man that just seems wrong.. not sure thought but never heard that before..

Ye im not sure if no light will help produce more trichs? I think sticking to 12/12 is perfect ratio. Pure indica you could maybe do 13/11 or 14/10. Pure sativa will stay vegging in that.

Ya I'm not too sure but as per that video I had posted the link to says that the last few weeks doesn't matter on the 12/12 cycle and that rule doesn't apply for the last few weeks. It's made sense what the guy was saying.. I am just unsure about what to do lmao...

im planning on buying sum white widow from seedbotique.com and was wondering if anybody here grows white widow from nirvana. will i get good results?. growing in a medium size cabinet hieght 5ft width 2 1/2 ft depth 1 1/2 ft. growin in soil in 5 gal buckets from start to finish. i dont have any hydro ferts but i have scotts 10-10-10, MiracleGro bloombooster 15-52-15, blood meal and bone meal. but i was thinking about ordering iguana juice from advanced nutrients but its exspensive and im not sure how much i will need to order.? i was thinking of growing 2 plants at a time each in a seperate 5gal bucket so they get plenty of root space. for vegging im gonna keep them on 24/0 on/off and for flowering i will switch to 12/12 after 8 weeks if they look ready im gonna switch off the lights for the last 2 weeks. then im gonna cut them down let them air dry for 3 days then jar cure them for a while and i forgot to add to add this before but is it true that white widow doesnt really give off odor and if it does would a dryer tube from the cabinet going into a pair of pantyhose filled with cat litter the one with odor eliminating carbon work

I just orderd d39 from seedbotique still waiting,its only been 4 days and that next dat it was sent im impressed so far.I dont like pot if it doesnt stink.that doesnt mean ww wont be good.Ive never had really good bud that didnt stink.try pure blend pro.grow and bloom.
