Flowering already?

So I have a few plants growing and this one came from bagseed. I was watering it and noticed something odd. Looks like hairs are starting on this one. It's only 5" tall though. Can this happen? Maybe auto flower seed?

Those hairs aren't signs that it's starting to flower, just that it's female.

Pictures would help : )

It could also be from some type of stress. Everyonce in awhile just after a transplant @ 2 weeks from seed this will happen to me-one of my plants will shoot pistils very early.

It could be from erradic light too. What is your light schedule?

I take back my first sentence, I am assuming that it's not starting to flower and just showing it's sex.

Thanks Squidbilly. Just posted a pic. They are getting about 4 weeks old and I just have them sitting in the window.

if the light is not strong . even if they were under 24/7 which your are not . in the window. cannabis plants will start to flower. you need to invest in lighting . or put them out side . so yes they are starting to flower even though your not 12/12 weak lights

It's definitely starting to flower. That is NOT how plants look when they are just "showing sex"... If they are sitting in your window then its probably not getting more than 12 hours of sunlight which caused it to begin flowering.

I just had the same issue, used a weak foliar application Alaska fish emulsion. High nitrogen nutes right on the problem turned the white hairs into green leaf. Be careful, i used the lowest recommended concentration, burned a few leaves. Hit it next week with 1/2 strength working great

Thanks. None of my other plants are flowering. I'm using egg shell water for watering every 3 or 4 days. And plain water in between. Want to go organic.

Well it looks like my plants, that are not even a foot tall, are starting to show signs of being males and females, and its way to early for that. Can I put them under a grow light to stop them or slow them down until I can get them outside?
