first time grower

hi jus wondered if any 1 can give me any tips , my plant is on its 3rd week of 12/12 and is showing signs of flowering but i keep hearing about the final flush and other things. can anyone run me through the process please ?

the flushing process is when you give your plants nothing but water for the last 10-14 days of flowering before you harvest, this will wash out any left over traces of nutrients so that the buds burn smoother and sweeter. excess nutrients in the plant or soil during harvest will cause the herb to burn harsh and burn unevenly with a nice chemical crackle when its smoked....

i've read something from jason king about starting flushing 4 weeks before harvest. he claims this will increase potency. have you heard of this?

hey biggy,im into the 5th week of flower of my 1st grow and the best advice i can give you is concentrate on getting the best and biggest buds you possibly can for now,you have loads of time before you have to flush.best of luck

If the plants are in the 3rd week and starting to show thats good means that the harvest will be fat.have the lights has close has possible you don't want leggy plants leggy means less bud.in the final week of the flowering process give your plants nothing only water set at around 5.5ph.if its possible take the plants to the bath room and get some water or any container has long has it hasnt had any contaminants in it before.poor the water over the soil of the plant i do it over the toilet till the water runs clear.if you do this about 3/4 times the plants will only need a top up if they become dry.but use the water you used earlyer water set at 5.5ph.some folk do it 2 week b4 but this is not necessary 1 week gives the same rusults.

you should add some molasses to you water, it will improve the taste of your bud. 1 tbsp to 1 gallon water

after 30 days into flower double the strength of your bloom nutes.

i do know people who cut out their nutes at about 4 weeks prior and start using mollases to flush, they say it makes the herb more punget and rings out more flavor..i really cant tell the difference, but who knows. as far as potency ive never heard that before...
