I have some CalMg+ but it tends to lower my ph by a crap load and since I was having so much trouble with high ph, I bought ph down and no ph up so I guess I have to go out again and buy some. I just watered again with very watered down CalMg+ at around 5.5ph cause the soil was pretty dry (haven't watered in almost 3 days) and the water seemed to run through very quickly compared to other waterings. I hope this isn't a side effect of something else.... Any ideas?

I don't know if I mentioned this before, but the plant has been rootbound since about day 30 so maybe this effects something?

As of about 15 hours ago, the LED light has been moved to 6 inches away from the top flower/leaf.

You could just add enough of the cal/mg to get your ph to 6.5 or so, you may not need a full does. That said your soil should be able to bring the ph up some if you are running a little low (I probably would go below 6.0). Not really sure on the root bound, really only grown outside or with cloth pots inside.

Soo I still haven't picked up a working humidity meter yet but it seems the plant is still growing at around 1/2 an inch per day so thats a good sign. Only problem is that some leaves are still dying and some are still showing obvious signs of deficiencies. I am currently alternating feeding about 1/4 strength nutes (10-15-10) and 1/2 strength CaMg whenever the soil is dry. Hopefully leaves stop dying soon... =/

Something just came to mind. Right now, she stands at around 7-8inches tall at 40 days in a grow thats supposed to last 90 days (autoflower). How much taller could she possibly get? I read somewhere that it can grow up to 2-3 times its height during flowering. Is this true for autoflowers or is that only true for non-autoflower seeds?

all plants grow up to 2x-3x their veg size, not just autoflower

I'm just wondering... The site I bought the seeds from claim this: "Flowering time 8 weeks and average height 80 - 90 cm"

When it says "Flowering time 8 weeks" does it mean it will finish in 8 weeks?
This is an autoflower so I would assume it starts flowering whenever it wants. What would the "start of flowering" be if there really is no "flowering lighting"

I run 24/7 btw.

Flowering is generally counted from the day it starts showing pre-flowers. I don't do autos, but I do know that the estimated dates can be pretty "best case scenario", hydro growers seem to get closest to the breeders time from what I have seen in journals/posts. Really hard to say since people are not that consistent on what they count as "flowering", some say from the switch in light cycle (for photo plants) others count from when flowers started showing up. I see many auto growers count from when the plant sprouted.

Anyways, I think its time to shoot up an update.

Day 60 - About 3-5% of the trichomes are amber per leaf. Asking for advice in another thread whether its ready for harvest or not. It's kind of hard to see the trichomes on the leaf, but take my word for it, the heads of the trichomes are amber.

They are not ready, also not healthy. Have you stopped feeding or has there been a big change in the water you are using?

I stopped feeding 5 days ago cause I thought you were supposed to flush and stop feeding when you're within approx 2 weeks of harvest :S

Temps also dropped about 10 degrees celcius at night the past week as well....

I am in the green until harvest camp, I save flushing for if I have a problem. My opinion is that my plant is not a super model, I don't need to starve them before "show time". This is a topic that people are very passionate about so you need to decide for yourself.

I think you still have time left, and would give a light feeding (1/4 or 1/2strength) now if it was me.

I thought people flushed their plants 2 weeks before harvest to prevent "a chemical taste". O_O
Guess I've been misinformed... I'll probably feed it a bit the next watering but it takes a bit of time to dry out after flushing

Yeah, that is the theory. Maybe it is more in hydro, or people feed a lot heavier than I do, but I do not flush and do not have a chemical taste. If you are concerned, maybe you can do a tea with castings and compost?
