Well Long story short today was day 8 from seed outdoor.

If you read my prior posts I have a ton of fencing/odor materials out to deter pests.

I didnt have to walk there today but I did come to find all my pots had all the dirt missing and only 1 plant was really getting anywhere :/ while the second was barely holding on.

I think it was the oats I put everywhere... They were supposed to keep the slugs away but actually attracted something that ate everything. Thank you internet :/:finger:

oats??????

wow man. just about every wild animal thats not carnivourous (and some that are) can smell oats for miles.... and will gladly walk said miles to eat the oats, and anything else tender and green close by.

someone fed you some bullshit man... sorry to hear it.
live and learn.
next time try pissing around your patch (not in it or on it) and getting ahold of some shit (dog, human, it doesnt matter) put it in baggies with holes poked in em, and scatter the little medow muffins everywhere around your grow.

Lol oats? Whoever told you that is a dumbass, or was trying to get your plants eaten. You didn't think that oats seemed a little weird to spread around your crop? Deer LOVE oats and will trek far for them. I guess now you know not to do that ever again...

Yea man this really blowS. I was really depending on this gro but I guess that's why they say never put all your eggs in 1 basket.

I hav read many different places online that oats killed the slugs because they can't digest them. Looks like I only have to plants left now tho :-/ it will suprise me if these 2 even make it. God man all that fucking work and now I have to wait another year and a half till next season.... Dhhssjhshahaha!!!!!!!!!!

All the fencing in the world wont stop a fucking mole from getting in, they were trying to have their way with my white rhino last year, they left the widow next to it alone. Fn bastards, all I had to do was put them up on a cinder block standing long ways so they couldnt climb it. After they get so big, nothing really messes with them. But oats seriously, as a hunter, I would love to sit next to your plants in october, draw the deer right in for me.

I find that a column of poultry fencing (chicken wire) carefully shaped to sit in the pot protects outdoor plants very well from predators. Sevin dust keeps bugs away. Just my $0.02
