First Grow, kosher tangie, and pineapple chunk

So this is my first grow indoors and it's been done on a budget I opted for t5's for the energy costs low heat output.(growing in a confined space.)

My medium is about 70% coco, 20% perlite, and about 10% E.W.C. all of them organic

I'm using the Most of the Nectar of the Gods Nutrient line along with SLF 100

In a DIY grow tent I made from panda poly and pvc.

I germinated my seed(6 Kosher Tangie, and 5 Pineapple Chunk) all of the k.t. and 3 p.c. where ready and planted on 2/14 (happy valentine's day!!!!) One more of the p.c. eventually germinated on on the 19th and was planted same day. Of the seeds planted all of the K.T. sported and are doing well. Only one of the P.C. did. (Not to happy with Barney Farms, DNA awesome though.)

Seems alot of ppl use the party cups for seedlings huh? What soil for ur lil guys?

I ran two pineapple chunks years back and they were nothing like described. One was a bean pole with a few rock hard buds but nearly no side growth, and one was a massive christmas tree with huge buds that were so fluffy they barely weighed more than the bean poles buds in the end, plus it wanted to go for well over 10 weeks.

Either way, I won't be retrying that strain ever. Cheers.

Yeah on the party cups, dirt cheap and I and I already had em at my house. My soil less mix is about 70% coco, 20% perlite, 10% E.W.C.

What brand of soil? I run fox farms ocean forest in mine, or is your a home blend? Your seedlings are looking good, I'm on a budget to but I picked up a full spectrum ir uv led for 150 on Amazon and it's done very well I got it mostly to kill mold. Can't wait to see the kosher kush in it's full glory!

Yeah I mixed mine up myself, but fox farm is great stuff!!! Wow that's a great price, got a lot of my grow stuff on amazon too. Super cheap, and there's no grow shop near me. Kosher kush is a great strain, are you doing a grow journal?

Yeah man I read some good stuff on the p.c. so I bought seeds, then after I bought em I found a lot negative stuff on em. I guess there's an insane amount of phenotypes so getting a keeper is pretty rare, maybe I'll get lucky though. Either way after the germination and sprouting problems I had I don't think I'll run p.c. or any Barney Farm seeds again...

Yea I have a journal it's the mOC auto nl x cheese fem. I just finished up my bc bud depot the black here's some picks I'm about to chop them. The black was nice to grow those are my first plants hopefully the rest turn out as good.

Update, 16 days from planting germinated seeds. Topped all of my Kosher Tangies at 14 days but the p.c. is still lagging behind the rest, still developing the third node. Starting feed half strength nutes to the girls and seem to be responding well.

Thanks man and your little ones are lookin awesome if they keep going at this rate you will achieve similar if not better yields than me I messed up my blacks in the veg period but yours are lookin sweet. If you are using fluorescents whatch out for powdery mildew it seems to thrive when using that type of light.

I am, thanks for the tip, I live in a fairly dry climate so I'm hoping I won't have to worry about mold or mildew. Thought about using a humidifier because of how dry it is where I'm at but decided to try and keep things simple for the first grow.

Transplanted on 3/08 some Plants are starting to get yellowing on lower leafs. Will post better pics if it get worse, gonna try and up the calcium. But otherwise looking good, new leaf growth on the on nodes after top and health roots on all.[/ATTACH]

Plants have taken off after adjusting the nutes! Too much in fact some of the plants grew into the light and got burned... but still going strong. Continuing to feed with extra calcium and raised my light. Also started to train the branch to lay down as I am planing a scrog grow when I switch them into flower

Girls are doing good, lots of new growth. Up'd the nutes and still be responding well. Saw some stuff that I think trichoderma but freaked out when I noticed it and removed it fearing it was mold. But didn't seem to affect the plant that I can tell.

Busy day today, installed a scrog screen, cut clones and switched to flowering.

Your babes are lookin great man! Almost makes me want to switch back to flourecents seeing your girls doin so well with that type of light. What ppm are you at if you have a gauge? And how many mili liters are you adding of calcium? I could use this knowledge on my afghan kush she's very touchy on nutes.

I use all organics so my ppm's run high with my early flower nutes they're running about 650 ppm. I use mostly coco coir medium so a little extra calcium is needed. I use about 3 1/2 tbls. Of different calcium supplements which includes about 2 teaspoons of a calcium phosphate ph booster to bring my ph to 6.2

Plants are still doing good, scrog is starting to come along
I didn't take any pictures but the clones are doing ok. Not real news to report, but feel like their starting to get roots formed on some of them

here's pineapple chunk from barney. dont know what it is but everything that popped from barney, all taste/smell the same (weird smell), doesnt smoke that great. done chronic thunder, liberty haze, blue cheese and afraid to do critical kush. all organic, raw nutrients and teas. my opinion, dont waste your time with them. blue cheese was hermed on me bad
i've had great luck with dna. make sure to keep clones of those
