If you started flowering at the beginning of week 3 from 12/12, then you are about 3 weeks in, and they look about right. Just keep the lights as close as you can, it looks like the lights are pretty spread out, if you can do anything to arrange them all closer and surrounding the plant that would be better, it looks like you are already doing that with the lower light.

On the nutrients, I wouldn't change what you are doing. I feed (lightly) right up until 2 weeks fro harvest and she taste great, burns clean. The grow medium determines your feed schedule, if you keep your eye on your plants for change you should notice if you need to add more/less.

Would you consider a move to outdoors?...those babies would finish up just fine outside...just a thought

I don't have the space to move her outdoors where I am, I tried to consider it from the start of the grow. Just didn't seem like it would work out.

Hbbum I have been feeding every watering, should I cut back? Also its in a 2 gallon pot with no holes in it any way to determine how much water to give it? Feeding and watering is done every 2-3 days 4 days max.

Im pretty new at this but I think you need more lights...I recently added cfl's in reflector can type lights clamped around the sides of my girls...very inexpensive upgrade and Im already seeing results!! You can also add splitters to the lights so you can use 2 bulbs in place of one...type Mr Vega in the search box and check out what he's got going on with CFL'S...I wont even mention my thoughts on the MG...(thats what Im currently in...first grow) and if I say anything negative about it the MG militia will track me down and burn me at stake...
Looking good for a first time grow!! :)

well, your leaves look great and happy so I wouldn't change what you are doing. I alternate plain water and food, but do what works for you and your plants :)

Ok awesome Hbbum thank you very much :) they say the first time is the hardest and I see why, but having knowledgeable people to talk to definitely helps things go by a little smoother. I'm going to keep on doing what I'm doing Ive lowered the lights down to approx. 1-3 inches above the canopy. Should I cut off the small buds that are formed they are the size of a quarter or smaller so 1 inch or so?

MD914 I cant afford new lights yet but my next grow I'm going try and prune her during veg to keep more light flowing through the canopy and more air as well, If she yields 1 ounce dry or almost 1 ounce I will be happy it definitely will be more then if I didn't try at all :) As far as MG is concerned I know right I'm new and every time I look at my ferts I'm like man I hope the MG for and against community's don't come burn my home down :) Very touchy subject there but this site is very understanding and people have so muchcourtesyhere it makes me feel proud to be a member.

I use an HPS, so I did clear out bud that was outside of the 18" light penetration I get. CFL is different. That said, I am not a huge fan of removing bud. Also, you can get lights all around your plant with cfk, including below it, so get the light covering everything and don't trim anything. Keep a good fan on them to keep the air flow and you should be good.

As a disclaimer, I will say I do not mind making butter with the light fluffy buds from the lower portion of the plant :) Great cookies

Ok cool, I will let her be when she is ready she is ready I may have another light I can add to her. Cookies are the best and I may just have to try that out. Tyvm I will be posting some more pics up in about a week or 2 just to show progress. I think you were right when you said she was in her 3rd week of true flowering because know everyday I see major growth on her. Soon I will be needing a scope, or something cheap enough to see the trics up close so i can attend to her properly and not screw the pooch on the end result.

Excellent, I look forward to seeing your updates. It is easy at this phase to jump to conclusions and screw things up. Its seems most of the problems people will have with plants (except maybe lighting) is with people trying to do too much. If something doesn't look right, post some pics here if you are unsure and try to get a consensus (don't just take the first suggestion).

I agree with you completely the more suggestions that come the better you can actually figure out what may or may not be going on information is the key to everything :) Heck maybe even I can return the favor later and help someone out down the road :)

Hey Twizzlor,

Just curious, I just read in your post that your plant is in a two gallon pot with no holes. IMO I would immediately drill some drainage holes, thus, when you water, you will get some run off and lessen the chance of salt build ups/ over-fert problems that can come with MG.
Unless I miss-read your post, when using soil, you want good drainage and aeration for your roots and soil.

Ty Indy I have been debating that one myself for a few days and haven't really had the time to do so. I'm gonna go grab my impact drill and drill the bottom out maybe 10 holes or so 3/16" or 1/4" just have to find a drain catch im sure I have one laying around lol.

I agree, if you have ever walked in soggy shoes... you know your roots won't survive w/o drainage. Not to mention that roots are the mouth so to speak. It's something that creeps up on you and when you have drainage, you can watch for the run off and determine how much water she needs.no holes = every bit of fertilizer you have ever given is still in there becoming toxic. Then water... water... fertilize. The smarter cats on here may even recommend a flush to remove the buildup. good luck bro!

get hid lights as soon as possible. also when they say 100 watt equivalant thats equivalant to 100 watts of incandescent not hid lighting. if you want like any smoke get a small hps setup
