first grow 2 weeks of 12/12 still no signs of sex

This is my first grow there about 7 weeks old and have been 12/12 for 2 weeks. i topped them in the first 3 days of 12/12. i also found that even though my room is completely light proof i had a red led indicator light coming from my power bar and fan could any of these keep them from showing me signs of there sex. thank you in advance

Topping at that time probably set them back a week to recover, as it is kinda late. LED's are really nothing to worry about. Any day now you should find out what's up with their sex. Good luck

thanks alot i also forgot to say that although there is one plant showing sign and its a male also its the biggest one all they others are about the same size and are not showing at all and those were the 3 i topped.

I find different strains start faster then others after you switch them to 12/12.

You have a nice, longer then normal, veg on your plant, what kind of lights and pot sizes did you use for vegging?

The topping could of easily set them back a few days, so you should start seeing pre-flowers any day now. With the topping it should have also came with the benefit of bringing the side branches closer to the top, creating a more even canopy for bud sites. If you topped solely for just having more tops, I would of suggested against it and topped for more tops earlier in veg.

That small LED will do nothing to the plants, so you don't have to worry about that. I know I have heard of frequent driving at night by greenhouses with effect the plants recieving that light, but I run small lights and my TV when the lights are off and I know a little light has to get in there, because light comes out when the flower lights are on, but it doesn't effect the plants at all.

You seem to be doing well without pictures to tell exactly. Keep going on you should have some good puff!

Pictures?...2 weeks of 12/12 is a bit long, but like others said before, topping them is probably slowing them down....gotta be anyday now that they'll show sex!

im using a 400 hps/mh in dwc system, genhydro nuts. i did top them for more tops but turn out to have an even canopy instead so it work out ok. i would like to post pics but dont have a cam that will take macros, but they are very healthy.

so no white hairs? at all?
