As the title suggests, this is the first time I've run more than 1200w in the flowering room. I've been growing for myself for 8 years though, and been studying indoor growing on and off for almost 20 years so hopefully I've got the tools to not screw this up.
The room is 11.5' x 14', I have 6 aircooled hoods, Quantums, and for the first couple runs the room will be air vented, no co2. Organic soil grow in 5-10 galloners. We were able to build the room from scratch inside a shop, so we have lots of clean white walls, all electrics are on top the room, and six 20 amp circuits with GFCI. The strains running for the first flip are Shiva from Bodhi, Green Python from Bodhi, Plushberry from TGA.
Room will be vented with a 750 cfm vortex s line with a huge 750cfm rated carbon filter. I hope that's enough to keep the air cool while running at night in there until we can afford a mini split. I've got 4 oscillating 16'' fans that I will use to keep the air moving in there too.
In the future I plan to switch to an aeroponic rail system, go sealed room with co2 and ditch the organics. Maybe even go to water cooled hoods. But for now I have to stick in there where the budget permits. I've been getting a jumpstart at a different facility, but this place should be ready to go next week
I would really appreciate any input, if there's some interest I don't mind posting a few photos.
Until then....Damn fungus gnats
Cheers
