few things im not sure about

1.i bought some nirvana blackjack fem'd seeds- nirvana said they can be grown outdoors some say it wont. will it grow outside?
2.when its the best time to grow outdoors? first signs of spring? its just my first time outdoors XD
3.in temp under 20C my seeds wont germ right?

tnx in advance :leaf:

your questions are somewhat open ended, as your location is important to answer the first question. If you are in southern Canada, or a mild area of the states it will probably grow. When to plant? the write up says it is a 9-11 week flower, which means your projected harvest time better be before the first frost (Farmer's Almanac is a good source for that info as well as sunrise/sunset times). In central BC, we usually veg and clone March/April-ish, in order to have plants outside by May 24th weekend-ish (this is all weather dependant) You will want to start reading some Outdoor Cultivation threads for more info. As far as germ temps, germ your seeds inside and plant in small pots once they start into seedling stage. I usually start my seeds in Jiffy pucks, but each to their own. You NEED to start some hardcore reading/self-education if you are to have a shot at a half decent harvest. Good luck!

actually i have alreay read the growing bible 4th and 6th edition.
in my place spring comes in April so i will probably plant a seedling around end of march?
last year i germinated in july so i just wanted to know if i really need a temp above 20C to germ... i use the cup method it works the best for me
tnx alot

Blackjack Breeder's description:

BlackJack’s mother, Black Domino, was a clone sent to the Netherlands from the area around Seattle. Its father is Nirvana’s very own Jock Horror. BlackJack produces hard buds with huge, grape-like calyxes that are completely encrusted with THC! The smoke is heavy and flavoursome, and produces an exceptionally long-lasting high. BlackJack is thought of highly in the medical cannabis scene.

dont know actually... i have no experience in this strain but heard a lot of things in it...
that it is grow indoor better... and tough to grow with the temp...
i personally think above 20c to germ is perfect for it

tnx....i just cant grow indoors so i thought i could buy any strain and grow it outdoors like in nature
i think its possible.... plants were made for the outside LOL

All plants grow outside, it is where they are meant to be grown

I start sowing all plants (not just cannabis) in mid april in the UK

It would be best to have the temp around 25C, just germ them in some damp kitchen roll in a resealable plastic bag on your windowsill

o.k, I will try this one more time,

question 1:nirvana said they can be grown outdoors some say it wont. will it grow outside? The breeder says it will, if you are on the same or close lattitude as amsterdam, you may have a fighting chance. I am in the central part of BC canada, and there is NO WAY I would put ANYTHING out that early, but a spring frost isn't out of the question. In these parts, outside growers don't put anything out before near the end of May. April 'may' be still too cool, and/or you risk freaky weather outside. Better to germ inside, and start the seedling in a window sill if you have to. Once you get a strong seedling, move it to your outside location (I wouldn't just grow it in the ground, but in a pot so the roots will be in full force near flowering)

question 2:when its the best time to grow outdoors? first signs of spring? Pretty much answered that above. *see question 1.

question 3:in temp under 20C my seeds wont germ right? Your grow bible 4/6 probably told you that seeds and seedlings need warmth. Sooooo...... see question 1 above, and start them inside. Live with your parents and can't grow indoors? It doesn't take anything (except some ingenuity) to create a space to germ and start some seedlings. I will go out on a limb and say, if you just try to "Johnny Appleseed" your 25euro seeds will be wasted. If you have to, start them at a buddies place... start think'n Lincoln....

I hope it works out for ya... part of learning is making mistakes...
