Greetings:
I have been lurking on this site for a while and have acquired what I consider to be a base of knowledge to set up a small grow room. Using Google Drawing, I mocked up the room layout and am hoping to get some expert feedback. Here is a link to the drawing:

Unfortunately, as you will see, my space is limited, but I obviously want to maximize my yield during every grow cycle. Thus, I have set aside a large enough budget that will allow me to purchase good grow equipment. In terms of my actual growing medium / system, I am considering an ebb & flow system, which would allow me to have my reservoir external to the grow closet, thus leaving more space for growing. Ideally, I would like to have as much of a perpetual system as possible, so I can at least maintain my own supply of clones.
VEG ROOM
For the veg room, I was thinking that I could use the T-5 lighting, along with a 2-gallon 6 pot grow system, with the reservoir mounted outside of the room.
FLOWERING ROOM
For the flowering room, I was thinking of a 1000W HID, with a carbon filter attached on one side of the hood and the exhaust on the other side (thus, the air is pulled through the filter before the hood).
Ok, I think I have an adequate plan for ventilation. The grow room would be inside my air conditioner / furnace room, where I can regulate the temperature and humidity quite well. I realize the head space is a major limiting factor to the yield potential, so it seems that pruning to promote horizontal growth would be key, and using a chemical such as "Bush Master" as a last resort to control the height.
With these details in mind, I welcome any suggestions and critical feedback. Also, assuming optimal growing conditions (temperature, humidity, nutrients, etc.), what would you estimate the yield potential for this room? And, if any changes were to be made to the setup, to what extent do you think the changes would affect yield?
Thanks in advance.
